Name: Urthadar
Race: Human
Gender: M
Age: 74
Appearance: Thin and grey. His physical self has the appearance of just another old beggar, but in his eyes is a near-century worth of nothing but magical studies. Brown, tattered and ugly clothing, pieced together by various animal skins and bits of fragment from the earth. He leans on a long, incredibly detailed walking staff, its carvings representing an entire age, all of its wars and kings, knights and heroes.
Occupation or title (if any):
Other: A wandering mage from another land, he came to Landra by mere curiousity, and lives as a hermit, in a tent near the castle. His powers are currently limited, after a seal was placed on him by the spirit of an old friend, in an effort to keep the schizophrenia at bay, that has cursed his bloodline for as long as anyone can remember.
---
Urthadar sat beside a small crackling fire, just outside his tent. It had taken quite a long time to build, his body getting too old for that sort of thing. He could've started a small fire with his powers, though limited, but he would not take the risk of causing magical tremors, that even a newcoming mage could detect. Even though he was experienced, he had still not discovered a way to hide the energy waves, alerting any magical being of his presence. The mage could barely preform intermediate spells, and his body was in no shape to learn the way of the sword, he was helpless. He was also rather tired, and wrapped his old arms around his weak knees, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

When D'mitri arrived at the castle, once more he stopped. The smell of food greeted his nose, and made his stomach grumble loudly. But he stood there, unsure of what to do.
"If you want something to eat, you just have to ask."
The voice startled him, and he jumped, looking around him to see who had spoken. It was a young servant who had obviously been sent to work in the kitchens.
D'mitri nodded. "Please..." he said, not knowing what else to say. The servant nodded, and then went into the storeroom, coming back out with a loaf of bread and some cheese. She handed it to D'mitri.
"Thank you, Miss." D'mitri said, accepting the bread and cheese. The servant nodded before walking away again.

((Hi everyone, sorry, but i'm going to have to withdraw myself from this roleplay. I have a hard time being in two roleplays at once, it's just a problem of mine. Also, I'm going back into school soon, so I'll have less time to be on ppt. Well, adios!))

Mallicus watched as the centaur walked off. "Fine, just walk away," he said, sticking out his tongue at her back as he put his dagger away. Spinning back around, he tried desperately to remember where he had been headed before. His grumbling stomach answered for him. "To the kitchen!" echoed Mallicus' shrill voice down the stone corridors as he flew on.

After a short while, Urthadar awoke and glanced around. He found nothing new, and he knew he wouldn't. No one just wanted to see an old hermit like him these days, he remembered when he was a child, always aspring to be a strong warrior or a great adventurer. Now all he wanted to do was find an ancient book with near incomprehensible handwriting and learn more, secretly hoping to find a cure to his old age, and eventual death. The madness that his family was plauged with increased with age, as the brain just became more and more absent and it became difficult to think. And al he knew was, he was going to break free; he was going to find a way out of it.

While eating, D'mitri decided to do a little exploring around the kitchen. He started looking at all the dishes they had, and what not. Bored easily, he turned towards the cellars, intending to go there. He paused about half way there, however, in order to finish the bread.

Name: Hero Miller
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Appearance:Hero has curly, tangly, shoulder length red-brown hair. Her eyes are a normal shade of brown, and are somewhat squinty. She is about five feet tall and a little plump.
Occupation or title (if any): Servant and assistant cook for Adriana
Other: For being only thirteen, Hero is somewhat of a bitter old woman. She is known in her town for hard punishments for village children caught misbehaving. She began working for Adriana so she could help fund her brothers higher education. Cranky and Sarcastic, Hero is infamous as Adriana 's trains shrew.
((Hero is a name- read Much Ado About Nothing))
Name: Adriana Gerik
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: Adriana is about 5'6, and built like a ruler. Her hair is blonde and goes down to the waist.. However, this hair takes away hours because it needs to be washed, arranged, and brushed daily. (She barely does anything her self, though). She rarely slouches, and almost always have a smug look on her face.
Occupation or title (if any): N/A
Other: Adriana's father is one of the richest polititions(not noble) in Landra, and spoiled his eldest daughter, Adriana, rotten. Some people joke her heart and brain stopped growing at six, because she is just a hasel to care for. She needs cooking, cleaning, washing, reading, and writing done for her. Her parents want her and her siblings to go into politics, and mabey even get the Gerik name into the noble family tree, but twins Lunette and Dinesh show much more promise then Adriana. She came with her father, who has to do some business at the palace
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hero walked through the great hall very slowly. Adriana had requested bath water, but after she refused to give Hero a raise, she would just have to wait. Besides, she thought, she needed a walk. It had been a long day, getting everything unpacked, getting all the family settled, getting all the servants fed.
The castle wasn't much of a architectural beauty, she thought, but was defensible, none the less. The stone was thick and hard to break, but was a bleak gray color.
The great hall was nice, at least it had windows. The decorations were nice, but nothing to really marvel about. She preferred the marble library she had seen, but that was much more recent then the castle, and would have cost a fortune. At least the castle was sanitary, with proper lavatories, unlike most places in Landra now, let alone built when the castle was.
What in the worlds..?
In the distance, she saw what looks like a horse, but with a woman on top, and she squinted a little more, she realized it was a Centaur. She relaxed a little. Anyone with a education knew they alive and well. Well, not really well, as there weren't many left, but alive, at least. Centaurs were known for being good with animals, she must of been hired to help with livestock.
As she passed a clock, she checked the time. She had been walking for ten minutes. She'd wait another twenty before she'd get the water, and blaim illness.

Ella could sense the small pixie disappear from her presence. Strange little fella, she thought while eyeing at a painting in front of her. As she was watching at the fancy art she suddenly realized how pointless her strolling around was.
"Surely there must be something else to do..." Ella mumbled to herself and turned around in the hallway.
At the second she saw somebody standing a bit further down the hallway she made some nervous steps backwards.
"Darnit!" she said, not to the girl, but her own reaction. Sometimes she really wished her half-horse instincts would just disappear. Surely they were to some use, but all they managed to do in cases like this was make her twitchy, giving her a hard time putting a limit to the nervous fear that would rather just take control of her legs and make her run away. Her human nature really got into conflict with this.

D'mitri walked calmly down to the cellars, pausing at each space he could. He noted every detail in mind, from the smallest ounce of suger to the largest barrel of apples. He didn't know why, but he was bored at the time and meetings took many hours. He probably would not see his parents any time soon, and this seemed the best thing to do. He grinned lightly at the thought of being caught down here - he doubted anyone remembered the little boy he had been a long time ago.

Upon reaching the kitchen, Mallicus paused to take in the splendor around him. Food was everywhere. Shiny copper and silver pots and utensils were widely prevalent. And the smells. . . Mallicus found the scents nearly intoxicating. Flittering around the vast kitchen space, small bites were being taken out of any exposed he could find while shiny trinkets disappeared into his knapsack. The kitchen help, fearing themselves under attack from spirits or a plague, ran screaming from "a shrill unearthly voice" (Mallicus' excited laughter and self-monologue) and a horde of food-biting-jewelry-and-silverware-stealing deamons. In his excited bliss, the pixie completely missed the exiting of the kitchen staff.
