It is cold for me but it hasn't snowed yet and never seems to end up snowing anyway.

It's fun to play in when you're a kid. It makes a neat sound when you walk on it (a crunchy squeaky sound). It can range from powdery and soft, to icy and firm, which is the best kind for snowballs.
But it can be annoying, especially when it gets deep and you have to trudge through it. And it can make driving pretty dangerous.
It's only fun on the first day it falls. After that I'm just waiting for it to melt.

I'm up for the trade, I haven't laid eyes on the ocean in 14 years. =(

Exactly...the perfect snow is when it falls, stays for a couple hours, then goes away. Maybe one day a year when it stays for a day for the kids. Well...I guess you need two days, you need time for the sled track to ice over and be really fun. =P

Heh, I was having this same discussion with someone at school today. =P

I don't celebrate Christmas, but considering I live in L.A., this time of the year it basically ranges from sunny and warm to "possibly requiring a sweater". :P

I live in Australia, and there is very little snow here, other than in Melbourne and in the Snowy Mountains (original name, eh?). But I promise that the first time I saw snow, I was like "Wow."

And I was also told that this was crap compared to the stuff you get in America and Europe.

This is a classic case of TooMuchofaGoodThingitis. Snow is great, and so is Tropical and hot weather. But both have their cons as well. In America, you have wolves and whatnot. In Australia, we have evil flies. They swarm you in Summer and are the first thing you notice if you step off the plane and into our country. They only give you a break in Winter.

So having a hot Christmas is not such a great thing. But I guess having to shovel snow, and trudge through the stuff musn't be too great either :P

All in all though, I'm happy having a warm Christmas. I can always look forward to a barbeque, or a boat trip (have you ever ridden on a tube/dohnut? They're so much fun).

I just feel sorry for all you people living on the moon.

Warmer than cold. Today it got up to eighty degrees. :o I'm going on a snowboarding trip at the end of January, though, to make up for it.

Same here. Definitely no snow though. There's NEVER any snow here.

Why, why, why won't it snow here? There's lots of ice to slip and fall on but no snow (This is a sore point for me).

And why do we always seem to run out of oil (or whatever makes the heating 'heat') in winter? It's like a curse. I remember one year it took them about two weekes to get us some more. Ahh the reliability of the heating companies.

Oo me too! It's horrible. Especially when the car's all iced up and you're late for school. It takes ages for it to defrost so you're really late so you run as soon as you get out of the car so you slip over so you're even later. *breathe Helen breathe*

Actually, none of those.
It's just plain cold. Sometimes we get snow, sometimes we don't. And I haven't went skiing for ...erm, I don't even remember how long.
What am I even doing here? Not like I celebrate Christmas. o.o;
*runs away*
