Well, we (my family and I) found a baby squirrel on our porch one day, and my mom couldn't just leave it there so we took it in. To our surprise, we were able to nurture it back to health. Since it was a wild animal and we already had a cat, we had to release it. We tried to put it out in our backyard, but it would always find ways to get back in...like the dryer vent. Eventually we put it in a public park where it probably enjoyed itself greatly. :P

Birds irritate me sometimes. We had a blackbird that had raised itself over 2 years eating my cats catfood. On occasion it'd get stuck inside, crap all over the place, then hide under the liquer cabinet.

I got rid of it with tongs (think Troy Maclure on the simpsons with that documentary).

Birds use to come through our chimney into our wood stove. I think they were dead when we found them.. :( I was like four then so I don't remember very well.

Mm, wild birds in buildings...I've got two things on that.

One time in grade 6 (four years ago), our class left the windows open to the classroom, then left for PE class. When we came back...a pigeon flew in through the window. Caused a big ruckus.

Oh, and in the kitchen in my house, sometimes I swear I hear some knocking sound resembling a woodpecker...

I've found a bird in my closet before... basically because they like to hide in the jungle that is my clothing rack. I let them, though. Fun to watch.

By the way, not a wild bird. *proud parakeet owner... *cough*andmaybewithinayearaproudgrandmotherofbabykeets*cough*

Anyways, poor bird. Birds get so terrified so quickly. I used to catch pigeons at my farm and kick them out of the graineries (they'd get suck in them, because pigeons aren't that smart... inbred dirty flying rats... ) and they always got so frightened when i'd have to toss them out.
But I love birds none the less, sparrows are hillarious to watch (but not as cute as chickadees), and the sparrows at my school are hand tame because the students feed them so much (we're bad, admittedly), but they're cute.

A bat came in through the fireplace in my parents' bedroom once...that was certainly interesting. I think my mom finally used fireplace tongs or something to catch it...no worries though, the bat was just fine once it was outside again.

I would've asked if you have cats, because my old cat Squeaker once dragged in a live pidgeon to share with Lucky, about the only time she was nice to him. And my neighbor's cat, originally named Baby but renamed Momma Cat after having kittens, likes to drag in unharmed birds for her kittens to hunt o.O;;

But vent, ok. (Hey, at least birds are better than mice and voles! They get in thru the cat door O.o;;)

I love birds! (Well, not really birds, but all animals) All I have to say is please dont take the birds you find and kill them or torure them to the point that they almost die. Because I would cry. A lot.

One time I was at Wal-Mart and I was looking at the cheap watches that are on normal shelves (not in the display cases) and I bent down to look at the ones on the bottom shelves and a bird flew out into my face. Scared the crap out of me. o_o

Once we found a squirrel family nestling in our bath. We had to get our gloves on. -_-

URK....

I had three birds come into my house within a while. My cat went NUTS! I had to pick him up, as he was digging his claws in my arms, put him in another room, close the door without hitting poor kitty's head, get the bird without scaring it or hurting it and putting him outside.

The first time I saw a bird in my house I thought it was a HUGE moth. So of course, I screamed and grabbed a screwdriver and started to back up into the corner. Man, am I a loser.

A big moth..?-thinks of teen titans- I'd try to tongue it... Killer Moth..-goes wizzly, and tips over-

Kanrik:...Poor ryddel.. he's lovestruck by his own pervy mind..

Ryddel ((Me)) :...The scorpions don't scare me.. Insects and things, animals don't bother me.. I used to catch spiders, and keep them.. Even black widows..

Bugs arent a bother..It's just.. that bir'ds wings made funny flapping noised, and I thought an evil spirit was after me.. Really..
