Yep. Spam works -- that's why our e-mail system (my family's, that is -- though this is probably true for most everyone) is so clogged it's hard to find our real e-mails.
It works . . . but it's still an evil abomination.

I skip the guilds and stick to PPT Forums.
On occassion I do go to my guild and post, but very rarely.

Have you tried using the guild search tool?
It's simply the worst search tool ever. It has 3 options, which all do the same thing basically. It only ever searches for the exact word or phrase...

I just tried the guild search tool the other day because I am getting fed up at my current guild. Used to be filled with mostly adults relatively mature and now it is all teens who again, use chat speak and don't give a darn about anyone else in the guild.
Tried searching for a new one - but that search is a joke. You can't find anything that way. And forget about going to the boards - those are a mess.

Finding a guild that suits you really isn't that easy with litteraly thousands of guilds on Neo. The best way to find one that is what you are looking for and active is to go to the main guild area and choose a location and start looking at the names, find one that sounds like what you like and check it out (yes this will take time). Even if you join it with in a few minutes of looking threw the post you should be able to see how active the members and council are. If it's not what you are looking for or active enough for you move on to the next one.
Posting on the guild board that you are looking for a guild usually just gives you more agrivation that you wanted.

I found a guild called ~Baby~Neo~Paradise. When I first joined it was super active and friendly, but now I seem to find myself talkeing to myself for hours.
