Why are you surprised?

You break the rules, you get frozen.

Some people are truely frozen for no reason. They don't complain about getting frozen all the time - maybe one topic asking people to help with their letter or whatever.

I think the general point is that romance (in any way) *is not allowed* on Neopets. It doesn't say "nasty romance" or "anything besides kissing" is not allowed. When you sign up for the site, you agree to either abide by the rules (whether they make sense to you or not) or you face the consequences (being frozen).

Having a college degree in psychology is making it very hard to not jump all over the bipolar issue, but at this point I won't. If that is indeed the truth, then it's up to you to take control and do something about it instead of just hiding behind it.

You got a real good point there. I've got ADHD, but if I forget something, I shouldn't hide behind my disorder, I should take the blame for it and use my willpower to overcome it afterwards.

I felt sorry for you at first, but the part most people skip when they sign up is the signing the Terms and Conditions part... most people just check the box without reading it.

I don't like to get on people about disorders and problems they may have, but I work with a girl who is bipolar and I get tired of her using and hiding behind it all the time when she gets in trouble. If she does something wrong she blames it on forgetting to take her medication. I also have a brother that has dislexia and he hides behind that all the time if he has to read or write papers for school, always asks me to help him (basically wants me to do the work). I think its sad that people use disabilities as a crutch all the time so they do not have to take responsibity for their actions and resposibilities. I also know people that I am proud of because they have overcome disabilities to do things people tell them they can't.

As for being frozen on neopets, I have no sympathy. You break the rules, you have to pay the consequences. If you want to take part in romantic discussions about neopets, find a fan site that allows that kind of discussion on their boards. Neopets was created for children and yes there are a lot of adults that play neopets (myself included). but adults have to follow the rules that are in place for the safety of the children that the site was intended for. Be thankful that TNT hasn't IP banned you from creating new accounts. Follow the rules and keep unallowed discussions off the site and the won't freeze you.

It seems to me a lot of PPTers are being frozen, although many many more are frozen daily, my account will be kept secret from here on out

Yeah, yeah, it kind of does. Because everytime you complain about being frozen, those that took precautions, actually read the Terms and Conditions, and did nothing wrong yet still got frozen lose credibility.

For every person like you that complains about how unjust Neopets is, a user that actually deserves his or her account has a little less of a shot to get it back,

I think it's an all over thing and not just PPTers. The reason you see more PPTers getting frozen is because this is where a large group of people who play Neopets happen to congregate. The other people you don't hear about because they are not members (which then they'd become ppters who were frozen). If they are frozen, they can't post on the neoboards and if they don't even post on the neoboards, you might never know about them. If you think about the number of unfrozen PPT members to frozen, the amount of frozen is only a small percentage.
