I can't wait until it's like, restockers get a 1 minute head start, if you play a game you automatically get 1000 NP per play, and you can choose what the lab does to you if you get Premium.

Either that, or they decide to move the whole site to Premium except for Skarl's Scramble, so they can still call it a free site.

As a premium member, I am thrilled that we are finally starting to see some tangible differences.

I am all for keeping a functional, free site, but I am in no way against letting people who pay have certain advantages.

I have been playing the site for 5 years, and something like this is really great for me.

You want me to pay 8 bucks a month so I can have access to a 'secret board' to chat to psuedo intellectuals and snobs?

I can go to a Starshmucks Coffee House wearing a black beret and get that for free. Count me out.

I just dont like the advantage that paying players get. Like it was fine because before everyone was more or less equal but now there are people on a low side of the scale and others on the high side. What happens to the people who cant afford premium, soon they'll be left with nothing. I can just picture it wars for premium members only, shops for premium members only, dailys for premium members only, new features for premium members only. Its all really bringing neopets down. Its just not as fun anymore because there are so many people for and against premium its dividing people. Already on the neoboards people are talking about who they wont be friends with because they have premium or how their friends womt talk to them anymore because they have premium. But sorry for the rant but I just had to say something.

Comton, you're really describing the whole site - pre premium. The haves vs. the have nots. The rich DO get richer, the mid level and low level players (non-rs'ers, etc.) either stay the same or get poorer. It's not easy to get ahead anymore.

The biggest advantage to having a premium account, for me, would be the removal of the banner ads.

First, that would help with my physical problems and allow me to navigate and stay on the site longer and enjoy myself more without having to worry that something's going to come up all flashing, blinking, etc. making me dizzy and fall or giving me a splitting headache.

Then there's the fact that I'm still on dial up and these larger banners are truly slowing down my computer and filling my temp cache up fast. Not to mention the tracking cookies, adware, etc. and that cursor ad

$8 a month is alot ... even if you do pay yearly and get a "discount". If it's going to be that much then people with more than one account should be able to have no ads on all their accounts, even if they can't use anything else.

I agree! I'll stick to PinkPT any day, thanks anyway. I refuse to pay simply on principle, and I can think of many better ways to spend that money each month...

Ya but the only main advantage before depended on internet connection speed. Now it depends on whos willing to dish out money. what makes me the maddest is this

LOL!!! 8 bucks a month is too expensive just for the emails and that :/ Maybe 2 bucks, but 8 is TOO much!!! (heck, I don't even know if I WANT to pay 2 bucks for it
