Advent Calender

My time zone messes it up for me too, but there's alternatives to that. Midnight NST is my 3 AM, so usually I just go to bed. BUT, then when I wake up at 6AM, it's still really early for Neopets so I still get the prize. There's probably other ways for other time zones, too. It's just a matter of who's actually willing to get up.

I think all the prizes should be the same. I mean, it's nice when you get the less given out prize, but it's not so fun when you're the one that missed out.

I agree that they should give everyone the same items. its not fair how some people would get an items woth a few NPs. While some other people get items worth alot! heh...but I guess its all about the giving. heh

I think the only time they should ever think about giving out different prizes at different times of day should be for the die hard fans who visit in the first five minutes of the day (or even the very first minute). No waiting to check somewhere to see what the prize is first, the people who are so excited about the AC that they just can't wait to find out what the gifts are today. I'm not saying they should do this, but I could maybe understand if that's how they did it.
Maybe they should vary the NP prize throughout the day. Then there's no devaluing or inflating of prize prices because everyone would still get the same items.
Overall, though, I think they should realize that not only do people live in different time zones, but they also have different demands on their time and can't always get there at the "good" time. I think that to keep the spirit of the holidays, and the Advent calendar as an event of joy and celebration (rather than disappointment if you miss the good items), everyone should get the same prize no matter what time they collect.

Well, the items aren't really rare, but I was annoyed when I missed the Kass items... and Doughnutfruit items... and other items... argh.

I say no, time zones and other things keep people from going to the Advent Calendar at certain times so I don't think it's fair if better items are given out early rather then later, etc.

oops, i was supposed to vote yes, but i misunderstood the question as if they would have the advent calendar the entire year

anyway, they should indeed, last year i was in the right time zone to get in the evening on Neopets, collect advent calendar and i had the best thing that day, but i agree it isn't really friendly for all time zones

I did that for last year's stuff, and I got pretty rich off it. But I didn't do that this year. Couldn't be bothered. *lazy*

Yes everyone should get the same item. I mean if some people stay up till midngiht and get a xmas p/b while others just get junk there would be a riot.
