Okay. I am just starting to get the hang of this battledome thing....I started off just doing it for fun, but wanted to try it outseriously...outside of the fact that I can't even find anything better then begginers stuff to buy. I think my best stuff is a lit scroll and a dessert dagger backed up with a leaf shield...from my understanding that is pretty average for a beginner...I just can't find better stuff..so any tips on what to look for that can perhaps be found/purchased please let me know.

Also, is there a way to increase your Power Bar..or make it so things such as Drain Life doesn't zap 40% of your power bar? Is it tied to a stat and I am just not realizeing it?

Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well, first off, those are pretty much great weapons in the buyable range. I wouldnt change them. When fights get too difficult for you, start using snowballs. Icy, sticky and tortured ones are the best.
Also, depending on your pet, you can get cheaper items than the lost desert dagger.
Example: my 2nd figthing pet is a cybunny. Instead of unequipping my figthing pets weapons, I just equip the cybunny a Cybunny Utility Belt which does 6 solid icons.

Yeah. I really can't complain with the weapons now. I was just looking into the future where I might be able to train my pet again (after the war). After that I will have to find some solid weapons and I can't seem to find some of the ones that are quoted as "great" anywhere...I would just hate to have a really strong pet and not be able to do much because I can't equip him since I missed my chance to get a regular or seasonal attack pea or H4 Helmet

well, but remember that also the damage you can do depends on your strength boost, so even if a strong pet has bad weapons it will do a nice damage

Hidinger, the IDB, when I can get in, is so excellent ... you can search by weapon name and get a nice varied review with the good and the bad on each weapon.

Hmmm, well right now of course everything's overpriced because of the war. Even snowballs are high! and with Taelia unavailable ... they're gonna stay a bit high.

Try a snowball slingshot, scroll of dark nova, illusens earth potion (a nice little bomb!), you need a healer so that depends on your budget and your pet's hp. Either a scorchstone (if you can afford it) or a healing scroll or even slime potion (10 hp heal). Get a second LDD or an immense rubber axe of doom, snowglobe staff for a freezer you may or may not like ... Loved mine, but lately it's not doing the job. Alot of people recommend Downsize! - my strategy stinks, I'm hopeless yet, so I have had no success with it.

That's basically my lineup. I don't know your pet stats, but those items should carry you for awhile and you can slowly upgrade/change out what you don't like. And don't forget abilities! Burrow, Sink, Drain Life, Fiery Gaze are great!
