This evil creature was once a Grundo before Dr Sloth made him the subject of his experiments. Now the Spider Grundo terrorises all who venture into his web.

EDIT 2: that gives the same explenation... oh well, that means it can have any gender :)

I won't lie, to me it's like an adult that's trying to trick a little kid either gender really.

Also about the site, you should really align the index to center over that book pic. I checked and its misaligned in both Mozilla and IE.

I still defies logic that you in one section defend spiders and in the next give 3 methods of killing them! WHY?

It's not because spiders are innofensive that we shouldn't kill them. We just shouldn't be scared, but they're pretty disgusting...

well, i found out why:

i have a screensize of 1152x864, and i noticed it too, now i changed my screensize to 800x600 for a moment, and then it worked perfectly, wich means the site only works well on 800x600...

you could help it by centering the text of the menu instead of giving them an excact width position :)

What resolution are you using? That's probably the problem, i'm using 1024x768

You're probably using 800x640....

The problem is that you're positioning the image by centering it, and posititioning the text by numbers.... and they don't always line up.

to do it best, i would try
table align=center background="image"-- tr-- td align=center width="half image width"-
text here-/td--td align=center width="half image width"- other text here
-/td--/tr--/td--/tr--/table-

That should work... just replace the ---s with ">" and "<"

edit: fixed the HTML slightly.

That's a great site you have there! I wish we could vote on what sites and neohomes and caves and stuff make the spotlights instead of having a team of people who probably rarely use their accounts pick them.

I think one of the problems i'm having is that that book is a bit too small for the text.

other than that, i can basically get it lined up properly with tables and junk.

I am by no means an HTML expert :-p

I like it, I think you do need to sort out the alignment of the text and the book at the top of the page, but apart from that its pretty cool!

Good luck with the site spotlight!
