I would like to throw a rotten shoe at Adam right about now.

I had trouble with neopets going down on me, so i went to http://www.neopet.com and from there i went to the front page of neopets and saved that under the favs, so when i click on that it brings me to neopets.

But now, i've tried to login in and i can't, i put my name in, then i out in the password and the required letters. but when it goes to the screen, i'm not logged in.

Go to Neopets.com.

i tried logging in from neopets.com

i've even tried logging in to my other account..zip..zilch..nada

Is it the username/password, or security code?

I get through the username one fine and then come to the password/ security code screen, i fill that in and then press enter, the page then brings me to the shops page, but i'm not logged in.

Try clearing your cookies.

tried it, it didnt work either.

If i stay out of my account long enough i might just decide to chuck it to the vultures.

my addiction could be cured thanks to neopets itself

Try clearing temp internet files

I've had this problem before. What I did was I looked at my computer clock and it was the wrong year so I changed it to the correct year and it let me long in fine. I hope that works for you.

Change your cookie settings to allow neopets.com, it solved the problem for me

done, cleared temp files,cookies,history.

i finally managed to get in. I went to neopets then i opened up the Neopain Times page, from there i went to the Test You Strength link. It showed me the username page and i managed to get logged in from there.

A roundabout way just to get in. I think something had gone wrong when i went to the NT the first time, cause that's when i experienced all the problems.

Also i had another window opened at the main neopets page earlier but when i managed to log in on the other window, the first one would show me as not having logged in even after i was logged in on the other one. :?

it happens to me when i set the cookie privacy to high and not medium-high. i'm glad you fixed yours lets just hope neopets doesn't put up the maintenance page again.

It's still not ok, i still am able only to get in if i go through to the news, NT and then from a link there. I still can't log in through the main page. I still have problems where after a certain amount of time the site starts acting slow and not loading properly for me.

My settings are all normal. I did not fiddle with them at any point in time so there is no reason why neopets should have changed for me. I am very vexed, the only explanation i can think of is that i might be on a different server which is not letting me log in properly. Someone was talking going to the Neopian Times and have the site turn weird for him/her. I did read the neopian times before i noticed all these problems coming up.

I already sent a bug report to TNT and i hope that someone will figure out what's wrong.

Are you behind a firewall or something? That might have some effect on it?
