So it's not a pattern... it's something familiar... and it has to do with food.

yup

one of the food posts was what gave it away to me

read over them and put them together, you should get it (um, as long as you've completed some middle or high school math)

It's hurting my head. I really can't make any connection between food, circles and numbers..

I had something like that in mind when I first looked in the numbers, but it didn't work, then I looked at the word BACKWARDS.

Hahah! That's great! *Tricky little TNT*

Finally figured it out. Great clues! I had to go back and read them Really Carefully to figure out what I was missing.

At last I got it! But the circles part confused me to start with.

Try thinking of a specific dessert...

Did anybody find these clues ridculous under normal standards?

Oh wait.......I guess the stupid clue does make sense.......but why did you have to be REALLY OBSCURE? I mean, it was like I had to solve two problems instead of one.....

I bet you just did that to make yourselves feel better. Are you satisfied with yourself now? I mean, come on! What's with the clue?

I thought the clues were good. The clues were *far* from obscure and ridculous ... In fact, I thought they were quite helpful. They are meant to be *clues* not *answers*, for pete's sake.

No one was posting clues to make themselves "feel better." They were an attempt to poke people in the right direction without telling them the answer, in a fun way ... I'm sorry they weren't helping you. Maybe next time they will click with you.

Some people think differently than others ... so I'm sure all the clues would be helpful to different people. If you didn't like a clue, you could just continue to work on it without it.
