Yes, that works. However, that doesn't solve the problem of both browsers having the same IP address. Neopets could freeze for that. I believe that Morningstar had an experience and all of th eacounts on the same IP were frozen until she sent a letter to the Neopets staff.
Nope, not me. I have never (*knocks on all the wood she can find*) been frozen--yet, that is. My daughter and husband were, but at different times, for different reasons--none of which involved multiple accounts or multiple browsers.
However, since I have multiple accounts, I have lots of suggestions. I have created a main account and then later created a new main account, which meant the old main account became my secondary account--and I never, ever had a problem. However, I never did a huge transfer of nps or items from the one account to the other. I basically left the original main account as it was--same pets, same nps, same shop--just stopped doing freebies and games. And created the new account from scratch.
At the time, I posted on the user lookup what I was doing and why I was doing it--just in case, the Neo team was wondering why there was a new account. Basically, I did it because my husband's account had just been frozen for allegedly cheating at flash games--so had a bunch of other people--and I didn't want to lose the painted pets and tons of nps I had on my old main account to a glitch like that. So, I created an account just to play games on and get freebies. That way, if it was frozen for a stupid reason, I wouldn't lose too much.
The two accounts are now basically self-sufficient. I rarely transfer items/points from one to the other. The secondary account maintains enough income just from the sales I do in my shop. I don't restock on that account (shoot, I don't restock on either account--I hate restocking)--but I do resell on that account. And, I resell on my main account. But, if I am shop wiz banned on the one account, I don't come to the other account to surf the shop wiz. I figure, even if it isn't in writing, it is a no-no.
And, every so often, the secondary account has enough nps to be able to buy a plushie for my plushie gallery. So, I have that account buy the plushie and send it to my gallery. But, usually, it is the main account that does the plushie buying.
So, far it hasn't been a problem--and it's been 1-1/2 years since I did so. I figure that if I paid for the shop on the old account, I ought to be allowed to use it to sell items in. And, that's pretty much all I use the account for--that and to hold some really awesome painted pets. The new main account is bigger and "badder" than the old main account ever was (except I absolutely refuse to make a big shop), but I love that old account--love the name, love the pets, love the petpets--so I would never self-freeze it.
Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
