Well, so far I've sent in an unfreezing form, sent off an email to every Neopets email I've found, and have only gotten 2 auto replies. I finally got my mom to make a letter of her own, and sent hers and mine out two days ago, including what happened, our names, and our contact information. So far, no calls, emails, or letters. Anyone have any ideas of anything else I could try?

Wow! You must have had a LOT of Neopoints on that account or something good. I'd wait a few more days because it may take them a while to get through the mail and then email you back. If your mom wrote it, I'd say you will probably get you account back. Just be patient a little longer and every thing should turn out fine...

I hope :/

The username Urthdigger, my pet's names, my game scores, and my meager supply of trophies. That's all I want back. I had around 1,000,000 NP, but I don't care about that anymore. I just want back the stuff I wouldn't be able to get back with a new account.

I don't know if the ratio of support staff to players was the same then, but around 2 years ago I had an account frozen. It was frozen because I had fallen for a fake log in page. After I sat and cried in frustration and humiliation at being frozen and why, once I realized what had happened and looked at the reason - "Scamming" - and figured that was it. I guess whoever scammed me tried using the account to scam others?

I did fill out the autoform, waited about a week, filled out another, etc.

It took 2 months before I got a reply. Yes, I eventually was unfrozen once things were straightened out. In the meantime I broke down and starated a new account which is now my main. The first account is my gallery.

So politeness and patience I think are very important when trying to get an account back. I know some people have been unfrozen in a very short period of time. But I think they're the exception, not the rule.

I wish you luck on that. A nice staff member to try is Amanda.

(mailto:amandaw@neopets.com)

She helped someone I know get his account back.

Hmm, I haven't tried that. I'll give it a shot, but if the letter would work I'm suprised they haven't gotten it yet. After all, I'm in Washington, just two states to the north of Neopets HQ. Well, I'll keep waiting... and curse every day I miss more of the advent calender and hannah plot.

Remember, Snail mail will take at least 3-4 days to get to wherever it's going.

Well, it's now been 6 days since I sent the letter, still no reply. I did get a reply from Amanda though.

Quote:
I'm sorry but I am no longer in the support department so I am not able to look into frozen accounts anymore. You would need to discuss your account with someone in the support department to be able to see why your account was frozen and get more of an explanation or explain the situation to them.

Amanda

Sucks eh? Anyone think I should email her back and tell her that I did email everyone on the support team who's email I could find, and got no replies?

Well at least you got a reply. I still haven't heard from anyone. I think I'll be emailing again. I really hate to be a pain but I really feel that I was frozen for no reason. If you do email her back & she's able to lead you to someone that will help, I would like to know as well. I really wish you good luck.

Well, I sent Amanda back a reply explaining that none of the support staff had sent anything back. Still nothing. I've also had absolutely no replies from my letter. For all I know they've burned it! Have they cut off all sorts of communication with the outside world? Need I take a road trip to California, sneak into Neopets HQ (Mission Impossible style) and use their terminals to unfreeze my account? Only time will tell.
