a new adventurer eh? well heres the summary:

as soon as you start, head out of town (only 2 spaces away max). hunt for enemies, and just keep leveling up until 3. go to your mother when you need to heal for free. and dont think thatll take a long time...

when youre level 3, you should now head a little further from town, into the hills and forests. there are still easy enemies, but are a bit too hard if youre at level 1... so go on, fight them for more exp.

once you level up to 4 or 5, you should start leaving completely. head east, then north, and youll find a cave. if youre level 4, hunt in there until youre level 5. use the idnq maps on the first post, to get to the boss of the cave. dont be afraid to use healing vials that you find...

once youre done, ill post your next step if you really need it :P

Any tips for fighting on Evil? I was fine until I headed towards Zombom. (His name is like a plague to me.)

just put half of your points into damage increase, about 3 into critical strikes, 1 stun, and the rest haste. you can take a point out of damage increase for magic resistance, but it isnt necessary. level 12 recommended for evil

:D
Congratulations!
You have beaten NeoQuest® II on InSaNe! difficulty!
You are awarded a NeoQuest® II trophy...

Thanks for the help. I have never played Neoquest or Neoquest II before.
I'm approaching level 4, and i'll head towards the cave soon.
The only problem I have now is what to use the skill points on.

Meh. You'll get over it. :) Besides, all that backtracking will make you level up.

sword of apocolypse! It's supposed to rival the SoS or GS!

Well i just beat devilpuss on normal and i'm in the path up. i seem to be doing way less damage when i hit bionic cybunnies even though they're not focused. it's weird. only mipsy can really hurt them

Neoquest 2 eats your soul. o.o *just got to act 3 last night after playing for 2 days straight* Clicking a mouse is very addictive... either that or I'm just obsessive compulsive. ;p

I mainly follow PPT's Neoquest 2 guide for the maps - I hate getting lost and I think once you take yourself off hunting... you get to moving around a level pretty quickly. Always max out the amount of healing potions you carry.. because you know - Mipsy is the one that takes the most damage and she needs to be healed quickly before the large groups of monsters kill her. :/
