Recently I've seen several people who have costomised their online status on the user look-ups. Does anyone know how to do this and can you tell me how. I assume it is some javascript but I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks

Go to the user prefs page and in the address bar, paste this code:

You should then see text boxes instead of drop-down menus. You can now type your hobbies into the the boxes (if you want more than three, you can seperate them with commas).

I think you can only get it if you have the Neopets Portal and a premium account. It's rather unfair though.

Online - Lurking
Online - Avoiding Work
Offline - Doing Stuff?

If so, you go to help, then user preferences, then site preferences, then go to User Status and there's a huge drop down list.

Neopets Portal/premium account? Since when did that happen? I thought Neopets said that they would never charge for extra features... =/

Yes, Neopets Portals does allow you to set Status differently than those who do not pay. Portals is a pay feature that includes mail and an access or 'portal' page that contains many status and info features. While Neopets does not charge to play, they do charge for e-mail acoounts. They also offer web access!
