The kind of dial-up that charges you for how much you use is stupid dial-up. It doesn't count.

Why is that stupid? It suits some peoples needs, if someone only uses the internet for a couple of hours per week why would they want to pay for broadband or unlimited dial up? Just because it doesnt suit your needs doesnt mean that its stupid.
