Hi, I'm sorry if this topic has been drug out before (I looked but was unable to find anything) but I was wondering if any of my fellow PPT'rs in Europe has managed to be able to sign up for Neopets Premium? And if so, how did you do it? o_O

Did you use a credit card?

That's where I am running into problems, I don't have one. When I lived in the states I had loads of them, but here in Sweden credit cards aren't used really, nobody has them...(and checks are non-existant). Everything runs on direct deposit and automatic withdrawls. I used to purchase things happily online using webcertificate, but then the doughnuts in charge over there though it would be good to BLOCK all users outside of the USA and Canada. :x After wasting a ton of money in long distance calls to them as to find why I couldn't access my account there, they refunded my money and told me "Sorry, but it was the security board's decision to block Europe, so we can't do anything for you." Rawwr.

So, now I have to figure something out I guess. Sure would be nice if TNT would put up a mail-in payment option, but I guess my better chance is begging my Father back at home to sign me up with his credit card. (I'm a bit reluctant on that, because since I got married our last names do not match, and I don't want TNT to think I'm some sort of credit thief). :o

Christmas is coming up anyhow....maybe I can get something worked out. *shrug*

Thanks for replying.

Im in the UK and signed up ok with a credit card, they wouldnt accept my debit card though. Is it just the portal that you are wanting because the ISP doesnt work outside of the US and Canada as I found out after being charged!! :x

Maybe you could get a credit card on line, there are alot of companies that will give you a credit card, there must be 1 that likes sweden!!:P

Yeah, I guess it's just the portal I need, I have killer Swedish Broadband and I wouldn't want to change even if they did offer it here. ;)

Thanks for the heads-up on being overcharged though! If I get a chance to sign up I'll look out for that! ;)

Welcome to Neopets Premium Services Page

We are only offering a limited number of test trials each day so please check back soon to see if any new spots have opened up.

Thanks for coming!

The above message is all I ever get despite trying on a daily basis? I had thought that it must be standard for non-US Canadian isp's. But if you folks are getting signed up then I just don't get it.

ant, I get the same page as you, and I'm trying a few times a day. I'd at least like to see some information on this.

I wouldn't agree on that credit cards are non-existant here in Sweden, but they may not be used as much as in the US ;) It isn't hard to get a MasterCard or Visa here, just ask your bank. Or sign up for PayPal if Neopets accept that.

I'm feeling pretty stupid here, but I still haven't figured out exactly HOW you sign up for Premium. When I try to visit http://premium.neopets.com I get that '..limited number...check back soon..' message. Are they still beta-testing? I thought they were finished with that..

The exact same thing happened to me, I tried typing my address like 100 times, it ended up that I had put a comma in or something silly like that, it quite literally has to be the address that appears on your statement, with no punctuation or extra spaces!!
