I haven't been on PPT for a long time but gunbound got boring after like 4 hours and neo is still down so why not just pop in 
Yeah, things were REALLY glitchy yesterday, especially the restocks. There was some sort of ab'er in all of the shops. I know 2 people that are in the top 10 restockers and they weren't even getting a haggel on anything. Click, GONE... It was ridiculous. Hopefully TNT is fixing that as well as some other glithes. Yes, I remember neopets down time, was it really that long ago, lol. Yeah, I remember making a parody of the barney song, blah blah blah lets tie tnt to a tree and some person on here was telling me I was acting like a murderer or something, ROFLAMO. And that tp glitch, I remember that too, lost 200k in that, but it was in hts so oh well Hope neo gets back online soon though =/

hey all, I havent been on ppt for a long time, I quit neo about 3 months ago, but life got boring again and I started again, how long has neo been down?

Hmm, the only thing glitchy for me yesterday was the WOE, when I clicked to spin, page 2 came up blank. When I refreshed the page (dumb, I know) I got the Opps you can only spin every 2 hours page.
There was lag, but seems the special toolbars just do that to me, plus being Neo's birthday I think alot more people were on, refreshing madly trying for RE's, etc.
The whole ab thing - I saw one instance of that last night. Someone rs'd something in the magic shop, was pressed to produce a ss, which they did. Problem was, what the person said they bought had the right picture and the right price, but the description was for something completely different! Glitch or (well done except for description mess up) made up ss I don't know. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, as anytime something rare gets rs'ed, people start screaming AB'er. I know someone honest who was frozen after being mass reported for using an AB'er after getting a good rs and hadn't thought to take a ss proving they did rs it.

At first it was lagging.
But around 3 AM neopets time it went totally down.

It qwas not one person getting one item in one shop... It was with multiple items in multiple shops. My friend saw 12 r99's stock in a perios of a couple hours and only got a haggle on one of them and he is in the top 10 restockers that play neo right now. I personally don't rs much as I have a laggy DSL modem but when it is happening with dozens of items in all diff shops, theres something funny going on...

maybe it has to do with the plot (probably not but it's a theory) and they're posting all the clues around the site but don't want anyone to find them until they are finished so they decided 'Let's put the site down until we've posted them all!' Yeah, ok I'm have nothing better to do than sit here and wait for the site to come back.

Ack, my pet's still in training from yesterday (he's level 24 so it took 8 whole hours just to complete one course...) and I need to complete it. But right when I clicked to view the status--BAM! The site was down...and it has been for the past...um...five hours since I've been up.

I hope the staff is in by now, don't they work normal business hours?
The might be adding stuff for the puzzle around the site, like someone just said. I remember on the Mystery island puzzle they switched the DFM Pteri for a Coco Jubjub, but I think he was talking red herring.

It's been down for 8 hours for me. I had just started new batches in Plushie Tycoon when it went boom. I can kiss that PT game goodbye.

However I've been assuming that the puzzle is the Guildmaster's dinner (we were never led to believe that this would be like the Mystery Island or Ursurper-like puzzle, it was just assumed). If it was gradual updating like the Gadsgabogen puzzle, an outage wouldn't be needed to add clues in my opinion.

I'm sure your friends are great restockers. I really am. "The Top 10" as it pertains to restockers doesn't exist, unfortunately. Given that there are 80 shops, and most restockers are in at least 4 shops at a time, the term 'best' really doesn't describe much. If you're talking strictly haggle speed, a person that can't discern prices and item names well would be at a disadvantage in something like the toy shop, whereas they would flourish in Coins or something similar. It's unfortunate that your friend had a bad restocking spell yesterday, but that's all it was.[/quote]
