The "Optimizer"?

On the front pages of two guilds I belong to, the message "Removed by: The Optimizer!" is appearing where coding and text used to be. Is anyone else getting this problem, and do you know why?

ETA: Well, everything's back to normal now... o.O;

Yeah. Same with my guild. I think it's because of some links, but maybe not. That's what it's been placed by.

Strange, in my guild every councilmember's blog spot has been removed and replaced with that except mine . . .

ETA: I just noticed it's taken out all regular text I had on the home page, all that's left is the links.

Neopets is having fun with filters. Jelly World has gone from *random place* to -blocked- to Removed by: "The Optimizer!" :-P

The Optimizer isnt a joke.

Our guild had all the NPs and Items removed and received a E mail, not a neomail, from Neopets that we could either delete the guild or be frozen.

Needless to say we chose the 11 month account over the guild.

This has me upset. I can understand removing the stuff they thought innappropriate, but WHY did they take all the guild's nps and items!

That was nearly 200K in np and about the same in items.

I was hoping to find something about it in the news to make sure it was ligit, but nothing.

But neither of my guilds have anything illegal in them. No contests, no guild shop, no donations, no prizes, nothing. They're just roleplay guilds.

We did have a version of the better than you game, and something called an Unscrambler.

So those may have been illegal, but still can't figure why they took the NPs and items, yet didnt really issue a warning?

I just wish Neo would mention something this big in the news.

Daner, I checked and I don't have any email or neomail about my guild, so the Optimizer can't be related to your recieving that email. My guild has no contests, give aways, or anything. All I had was some "welcome" type text, and links to the daily freebies. Our message board just consists of regular old chat about the lab ray or avi's. We have no guild store or anything special.

Oh, wow. I just went to check the guild for the first time this morning, all the text is back. I'm guessing it was a coding or programming glitch/error.
