New Halloween Sidebar!!

Aww, it's gone now.

For those of you who managed to keep the Halloween sidebar, how did you do it? It was so much prettier than the yellow, and much easier on the eyes.

Probably too late now though...by 16 minutes. Meh.

huh? I didn't get anything that said that. Also, when i checked on site prefs, i don't have that option.

I didnt do anything starchaser, alot of people got a random event that said they could keep it but I didnt get one, however, when I checked in site preferences under user prefs the option to change it back to the Haunted Woods one was there.

According to the boards, a lot of people have said that they got the sidebar by refreshing or going to another page at 11:59. I don't know if this is true or not. Can anyone conferm?

I got it when I loaded a page at 11.59pm, right on the second, I think. For those who didn't get the halloween sidebar, maybe TNT will give you all another chance, like for example visiting the haunted woods on 12am NST or halloween next year or something like that.

Look on the bright side... the yellow bar loads faster.

And there are most likely other new bars coming which you may like better than the haunted one.

That is so messed up. Just because somebody wasn;t their on the minute shouldn't deny them of a toolbar.If it is retired I will be so ticked off, they just are not being fair with this.

I missed out on it too, was online on neo all day and then until laaate for me last night...(after 2 am here, but that means I'm 8 or 9 hours ahead of NST) and never got to keep my sidebar. Geez. :cry:

A person has to sleep sometime, ya know. Guess the sidebar thing is going to be a lot like the avatars are, where they go and make them available, then quickly retire them while those of us in Europe are asleep... :roll:

I'm in Europe and I got it. It was around 8AM here. I never even knew how, I just happened to click the World page at the right time. Lucky, too, I was about to close the window and accidently clicked World.
