I use the mall once when I was refused help at the quest board.
Told them I got a space faerie quest which ask for a "beef and noodles or something like that" item. Guess what!
I was asked to use the wiz and I was ignored after my numerous explanations....And they have been on neopets for more than a year. What a helpful bunch of idiots......

I use the malls all the time, because I always seem to get quests often. I have asked for prices for an item in the Quest Board very few times as most of the time people take a good five minutes to answer you or they buy one and sell it for 5X what they bought it for in their shop and say it's the cheapest.

I usually get a lot of helpful people on those boards. They give info directly from the shop wiz. Not to mention that most people on those boards will do anything for a Jelly.

I remeber using those boards... occasionally helpful.
Then I came here. People here are much more trustworthy... and coherent... and prettier.
I may have assumed the last one, but I 'm sure we can all just go along for the ride to make me happy? We good with that? Rock on.

The one time I used a mall, I could not find what I needed. I messaged a friend and they looked it up for me.

I used to buy from malls when I was a new because I didn't know there was shop wizard, I remember bying a petpet for 12k when it was worth 2 or 3. 
I never buy anything from there now, only look at them to see the different kinds of items and then buy them on shop wiz and when I have a faerie quest, I just to the neoboards. Really, they are not bad, you can get a responce in less than 2 minutes, when here, you have to wait for much much longer. Sure the moniters can freeze you, but not if you post something everyone is posting.

I don't think I've ever purchased something from a Mall and I don't think I ever will. Like many of the others have already pointed out some users don't know about the Shop Wizard though, when I first started Neo (4+ years ago now) I didn't know about the Shop Wizard and so I always used to browse through the top 100 Shops but, at the same time, I didn't have many nps at that point so I never bought anything - lucky me! I wouldn't have thought of Faerie Quests but I suppose its a smart idea if you don't have any other choice...
