I have been trying to regain some of my neopoints in restocking, since I've heard it is a good way to make np. Problem is, although there are several 'guides' out there, I've found them to be vague, sometimes outdated and generally not overly helpful (to me, although I guess some would be quite helpful to others).
I understand that there are RSers out there who do not wish to reveal trade secrets, but I really need help.
My connection speed is 512/128 DSL, if that helps narrow down the shops I should be looking at.
If you do not wish to let everyone know how you've made your millions of neopoints, you are always free to PM me any tips you might have. It would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, I am a little bit vague, so try and make any tips specific (items I should go for/amounts I should or should not pay etc).
Thanks in advance.

I usually visit the chocolate shop, there are tons of expensive chocolates, and they are easily spottable. You must have patience though. You will rarely come around "expensive" chocolate that isn't actually worth it, and you will find an easier time in knowing the prices than in the other shops.

The Chocolate Factory is my main poison in restocking as well, I first starting rs'n there when i first found out a better way to make np back in '01 somewhere, the fact that doing alot of Quests (ie: kitchen, snow faerie) shown me pretty much what was worth it and what wasn't. Then again they fluxeuate a lot too.. but it has to do with a little bit of luck to as with everything, Cause i've rs'd my choc av on a 56k before. I've also tried other shops between time too, but have always went back to the choco fact.. even though it might not make as much as others, It suits my needs enough to satisfy hehe..

Your connection speed is fast enough for you to earn at least 100k per hour rs'ing. You need to have a few shops open, one as a "warning" shop, which restocks earlier, and the others which rs later. Thus, if you are too slow to rs from the warning shop, you can fall back on the shops which get their stock later.
Now, which shops start stocking earlier? Those with low shop numbers stock the earliest, followed by those with larger shop numbers. You can see the shop number of a shop from the URL. Thus, technically, the food shop stocks first.
I wouldn't recommend having more than 3 shops open when you are just starting out though, you can get confused easily.

i dont know, but I am a New Member rs'er. I followed some shop guide thing at restockopedia2 s petpage, and that usually shows me about what to buy.
i usually do petpet, and buy nurannas, pnklets, angelpi, buzzers, babaas, noils, kadoaties, and other normal petpets that look rare. each restock I make like 8k, but thats ok

General Advice: Slower computers may favor the igloo garage sale. Click and it's yours. Some items are overlooked for greater items. Spot them, and make a haul. My first few weeks at neopets, I specialized in dung furnature and made my first 100k. I had 56k dial-up at the time.
For you: I recommend Kayla's Potion Shop in Meridell. Buy one item from there and make a ton. ANY item will make you a profit. Takes a lot of time....

I usually restock at the Chocolate Shop, or the Magic and Faerie Petpets shop. I make plenty.
