I don't like the banner either. It's right above each page's banner, which just doesn't look right.

Hmm, the top big banner doesnt load for me just a white screen. Otherwise it looks pretty good and I like it.

I think they should make the banner smaller and the width of the top part skinnier. It is kind of distracting. I think more people would like it if it weren't for that top part.

That one little random pixel is going to drive me crazy. You can see it near the bottom left-hand corner of the ad banner (about halfway between the word "neopets" and the banner), in the white part of the screen.

The top part should be skinnier....or at least put the username/np/pets up there...nah j/k. Relaly...about the themes...I want it...

Heh yeah, I noticed that too. :P I'm gonna hate zoning out on any Neopets page now... XD

i HATE the top banner. and it really, really irks me that they advertise for EBAY, when users have been frozen for typing that word.

and to top it all off, they are deleting boards with legit complaints! perhaps they deleted the board i was chatting in b/c i mentioned the hipocracy of advertising for something ppl have been frozen for, they dont like to be criticized when wrong.

the day i see a pop-up ad will be the last day i ever visit neopets

I haven't had any ads for non-neopet stuff yet in the past hour, and my account knows I'm 19. Is this only happening for US players?

Probably. I have seen like two of them so far. One for Ebay, the other for something I can no longer remember. I'm seriously not like the ads. Plus, they could have put that bar down to the bottom of the screan rather than the top.. so I wouldn't have it annoying me so much.

And at the top, if they really needed to have something, they could have a scrolling Neo-weather/Neo-daq thing. The clock is a nice touch, but... it's not enough to keep my interest when confronted with ads that I can't block.

I second that. I hate it, hate it, hate it!

It messes up every refresh, takes forever for the pages to load (particularly if you are hunting on the shop wiz), I am forced to see ebay ads on the site yet if I attempt to write the dagnabbit word I fear a freezing or warning, and it has messed up everyone's shop layouts! Grrrr!

EDIT: Oh, I had to add this: vinylraven, there are no pop ups yet--but they are watching us. Check your cookies or privacy report sometime and you will see non-Neopets companies there. I didn't believe it at first when another PPTer told me about it, but since I got PestPatrol I do.

I love it! The ads on top are kinda nice I guess...

Anyways, the time stamp thing is a REALLY great function.

Neopets should make it so that we can change skins.

The yellow around the big banner ad makes my userlookup look icky. :cry:

Other than that, it's pretty decent.
