I just think it's a bit far fetched to go slagging something just because it has a cjb url or asks for your username.

If you don't like those questions. don't sign is all I'm saying.

I don't see the problem with providing your fellow PPT members opinions why you think this club may be harmfull them.

Although it's not fair to judge them if we don't know them, asking for someone's real name is highly suspicious. I advise against filling out the form. If they know your full name and where you're from (some IP's tell what country you're in), they may be able to track you down. I'd just giggle a bit if they didn't ask for such personal info, but the fact that they do scares me.

I'd like to add that ONE MORE POST about spamming their forms or harassing them will be dealt with severely. Come on, grow up. You're just wasting their time and resources, and I won't put up with you guys getting them all huffy at PPT. No matter how weird or loserly someone is, spamming them and harassing them won't solve anything.

They don't even need to look at your IP -- they actually ask for your location.

I agree, though, filling out their form with fake info and spamming them isn't good. We don't KNOW they're scammers, we just assume. It would be cool if someone could get in there fairly and then let us know if the club's bad or not, but you're never gonna get in using fake info, so what's the point?

IP addresses can generally even tell you what city a person is living in. I don't really understand why they ask for location...it seems odd to me.

However, I don't think asking for someone's real name is that big of a deal. I mean, it's not like they want your last name and middle initial. They probably are just trying to make themselves seem more "serious" by calling their members "John" and "Diana" instead of "BabyGURLlovaa" or whatever.

Hmmm... Too bad I still care about my account, otherwise, I'd just try it and see what happens. *shrug* Frankly, IP's can only get you to country, state and then possibly city. I know.. I stare blankly at IP's all day. I know who uses Southwestern Bell and are from Huston TX, because they all have that same ending in their IP.

Frankly, if they want my real name.. sorry for them. They'll get the same one I use for things I don't care much about, but oddly enough require them.. Like Neopets. I get those scary phone calls asking for my name.. and I give them the one that is close.. but not it. Address.. same thing, just a city over or something.

As for spamming them. Hai, boring. I'd rather block the site and snooze on through it.
