We (being me and several of my friends) were going to put some money together this year and give the xylophone man a brand new expensive xylophone. This plan has been ruined.
Nottingham is now plentifully laden with trams, which has done all of nothing to reduce traffic. Oh well.
Oh yes - Holly and Adam; I accidentally joined the Young Enterprise pretend business scheme and we need to think up some designs to put on the bags we will be making. They have to be fairly simple as we'll be screen-printing them so..... as you have a large bunch of artists at your "disposal" would you mind asking someone nice just to think up some sort of pattern or something?
I hope it's not too much to ask. I'll send you some of the profits if you like! You can even buy shares in my company if you like. £10 for 20 shares.

Adam, there's only one big thing that's been bothering me over the few years of Neopets playing that I've done.
A couple years ago, I went to get onto Neopets at school, and someone was already logged in. I logged them out, and went about my daily doings. I logged off, and went home. When I went to log on when I got home, I found that I was frozen for "using multiple accounts," when I only had one. I went to school and found the girl that had the account that I had logged off, and she said that it had been frozen as well, for using "multiple accounts." I emailed support and explained my situation, offered IP proof that it was a school's computer that I had logged onto (the entire school network had the same IP), and that I didn't use multiple accounts. I got what seemed to be a standard "auto-reply" email back, so I emailed another staff member. After that, the first staff member emailed me back with the words "We will not return your account." That's it. Nothing more.
It was very upsetting because I had bought a lot of Neopets merchandising to get rare item codes and got some valuable items, and had spent a lot of time building up that account (lab map, rare pets, rare items...), and would never, EVER throw it away by cheating.
I gave up long ago on that account (I was told that you can't get accounts back that have been frozen for 1+ years, and I didn't email support back after that last email because they seemed angry and I didn't want to get IP banned), but I don't want that to happen to anyone else. I have also heard of such things happening with siblings using the same computer at home, and getting frozen for using "multiple accounts," and not being able to get their accounts back. I don't know what you could do about that, but it is definately troubling to me.

I run the computer lab for our small rural grade school, and this is the exact reason I blocked the kids from using Neopets on schoolgrounds almost 2 years ago. I didn't want to encounter rabid parents demanding to know why little Susie or Johnny came home crying because she'd been frozen for having multiple accounts. I already had parents voicing concerns over immersive advertising. It was a hard decision to make, especially because so many of our youngsters come from impoverished homes with no Internet access. I think Neopets is a fantastic teaching tool for young kids, but the lack of consistency in ToS policies, coupled with questionable freezing practices, forced my decision.

No, seriously it is me (Adam). Regarding all your posts about rule clarifications, yes I do still have influence over that area of the company I just choose not to get involved as we, believe it or not, have competent staff in charge. I will make sure that your questions are answered however, and if people are getting frozen for the wrong reasons (which has happened in the past) I shall make sure that is taken care of.

But don't be so trusting on the case of pictures. I have some very funny pictures of Adam at a party and could easily pose as him (Minus the Adam-sims that no one could mimic, well maybe no one but Donna and two other people who they know). But I shant and I'll not be telling where I got them *Coughyourmateadamcough*

The trams are rubbish. They only go to rubbish places anyway. OMGness the broad marsh is getting a makeover for some stupid number of million pounds, and will be 10x sexier than the victoria centre. Regardless though, they are both rubbish and will continue to be so.
Also brian clough died. Also, at last years christmas light switch on, I got stuck in the crowd surrounded by loads of black people. I saw two people get beaten up by some of the people I was 'chilling' with and was shoved aside by a policeman chasing them. I had to wait until like 11 when the concert thing finished because I wasn't really up to asking a 6'6 black guy who i heard say "if anyone touches me i'm gonna knock em out' to move. Still, I saw Romeo in all his glory and had the idea that white people can't dance thoroughly forced into my head by some nice girls who were there. Overall, a valid experience, and more fun than the friends I was supposed to be with had, they just fell over railings like idiots.
Oh and some iranian guy with no shoes on climbed a massive tree in the square (where the concert was) and everyone laughed.

The Pit and Pendulum? Oh yes.. the cocktails are fabulous, especially Gluttony
The trams are evil I tell you.. they're so damn quiet.. I nearly got run over by them several hundred times because I just didn't hear them approaching :/ I think there's a secret tram mafia out to get me...

Yeh the pendulem!!! Tis a fab place. Cocktails rule!!! Especially them jugs they give you with em. I tried quite a few before stumbling to the rock club.

Apart from Goose Fair, but i saved my money for better rides than trams!!!lol

I think all the Nottingham PPTers should have a meet, left lion at 12 on saturday I say. Apart from Holly, who feels York uni is teh best and is too good for us now
