But yes, a friend of mine in my guild (I think it was Jade...won't give the full user unless it's needed) got in trouble when we were discussing Ebay. She didn't get iced, but got a big fat warning for saying it. We were talking about how us europeans could get the space faerie as a challenger when there wasn't any merchandise to be bought in our areas to unlock her in the battledome. Myself and a few other members used Ebay to make some purchases of neopets merchandise to be able to do so...and were discussing it, and what items we bought to get it. (I got some stickers after noticing my blue acara plushie didn't come with a code)
It was all very innocent. X_x Needless to say, I never discussed it again after she got warned, and we all shut our yaps after jade shared her mail with us.

88. Donna got 130... seriously. She's broken 100 twice in her life and she goes and gets 130. The guy on my lane gets 180! It's just not fair, are they being trained by professionals or something and they aren't telling me.

Regarding all your posts about rule clarifications, yes I do still have influence over that area of the company I just choose not to get involved as we, believe it or not, have competent staff in charge. I will make sure that your questions are answered however, and if people are getting frozen for the wrong reasons (which has happened in the past) I shall make sure that is taken care of.

Borovan/Adam ... thank you for returning. We're not trying to scare you off, honest! We do have questions and concerns, and they're just not be addressed in a complete or timely manner.

I did want to address the staff statement. I have removed the staffer's name from this (for their privacy), as well as my email, etc. for my privacy. Good thing I truly AM a packrat! Please note that anything in bold is my highlighting ...

I have heard of way too many cases of people sending things to a secondary account - for a gallery, say - and getting frozen for "multi accounts" ... same with people who play on the same computer, like the mom I knew who bought and sent using the Send to Neofriend a paintbrush to her son as a surprise (they were both "main" accounts) - both were frozen for "multi accounts" and never got them back.
People are getting to the point of being afraid to send or accept anything ... you get an item from someone and they end up frozen for something - you get frozen for accepting something from them. You send a friend or family member an item (especially a pricy one or they're on the same IP) and you run the risk of being frozen for "multi" or "scamming" ... how you're scamming if you're sending someone something is beyond me.
And please get us a list of words to NOT say, along with the "unwritten rules" posted IN the Rules, and the clarification of the No Games on Other Accounts that was in the August 10 News. That should be added to the actual T&C, don't you think? I do refer people when I see them ask on the HC to look at the August 10 News for that very good clarification, but who knows how many people actually will.
Sorry Adam, I worked in law firms for over 20 years and I'm really used to seeing things spelled out fully in black and white ... I've even composed and filed legal briefs myself. It would probably be easier to just make a list of everything that's questioned ... and just have you or whoever is in charge of the T&C write Yes or No next to each item.

There shouldn't be a problem with moving items and NP neceaasry for your gallery to improve to your gallery account through the TP. I'm not sure if side accounts are allowed to enter spotlight competitions, but my guess would be no.

First thank you so much for the site and for everything you do for all of us, especially these days. You are appreciated more than you know.
I have a question on more than one account, what is ok to do and what is not ok to do. The new Rule is a little confusing to alot of us, as there are questions asked on this subject just about every day.
I have, in the past, used the trading post. I buy items for my gallery on my main account, and that is where I get most of my np via games and my shop. I do not do dailies, rs, play games or anything else on my other account. I have occasionally sold a few items via the tp or gallery shop - but that's now too big, people can't find the item!
I also don't know for sure that it is allowed anymore to sell items on another account via shop, trading post or auctions as long as the np stay in that other account.
I would like to know if it is allowed to use the trading post to send items and enough np from my main account to my gallery for shop size upgrade, food, etc. As I said I have done this in the past - not every day, maybe once or twice a month; on an as-needed basis. I would also like to know for sure if we are allowed to use our gallery/shop, tp and auctions on other accounts to sell items as long as we don't send any np to our main account.
Someone posted an email they received from support and posted it on petpage (*Name Removed*). That email says we can play games on other accounts and we can use our gallery shop to sell a cheap item and "buy it" from our main account to send needed np to our other account. The answer is a very good one, but it did not address whether we can use the trading post. I have a number of items sitting in my sdb for my gallery, but there are more items than I have space for at the moment.
Should I just send those items using the send to neofriend option and buy something from my gallery from my main account shop or would it be all right and safer to put "junk" items in a trade on my gallery account and bid on that "junk" trade from my main account, bidding some of the items and enough np for, say, 2 shop upgrades (this would be approximately 24,000 np). I would not want to do anything that is against the Rules firstly, and of course I would not want to do anything to place my accounts in trouble. I would not and do not condone cheating. I would just like to be sure of what is allowed and how it's allowed.
Also, are we allowed to enter the gallery/pet/site spotlites and/or beauty contest on another account? The rule says no trophies on multiple accounts, which to me says no, you can't enter because if you won, that would involve receiving a trophy.

I, too, would like to know whether or not it's okay to sell items on a second account. I use my main account for the dailies, games, etc., and occasionally selling things, but my storage account is where I sell things, usually. And as that storage account was just unfrozen, I'd rather it not get frozen again, this time for my not knowing what a rule is.

I did go to your link. After waiting for my pop up blocker to stop going insane, I got to read it! It's very very good. You did alot of work and were lucky enough to keep getting responses from Support. Kudos!
However, and I say this with all respect and admiration for what you have done (and yes, it is helpful), this is the sort of thing that should be written out fully in the T&C. Why? Well, because these are the sorts of questions seen on a regular basis on the boards, guilds, etc.; not everyone comes here or knows about your FAQ; the Rules can and do change; what people are told depends on who answers questions ... just the other day someone was arguing on the HC saying we can play games on other accounts -- because they had just gotten an autoreply from Support saying they could! which is obviously an out-of-date response.
So, I for one still would like to see a full and complete FAQ, T&C, whatever ... For example (I don't claim to get everything in here - can't remember everything - and this is just kind of the things I see being questioned) .... things that just say Yes or No we should all know (but the no games thing needs to be moved from the 8/10/04 news to the T&C):
Yes, you can have up to 5 accounts.
No, you can't play games on any account but your main account
No, you cannot restock, buy stock, scratchcards, lottery tickets, or do any of the "dailies" on any account but your main account (what happens if you get a random event on a second account giving you a lottery ticket????)
Yes (or No) you can sell items in your gallery/shop, tp, auctions on other accounts as long as the np stay in that account

I still don't think it is Adam. He was Borovan2000 on the last one, so why wouldn't he still have the 2000 at the end?

Yeah, and if you have been observant enough, he posted a picture of himself and Donna. I don't think a normal person would be able to ferret out such pictures without prior knowledge.

I have been indeed very fortunate to get some attentive staff members to answer my questions in the past...I would have liked to be more in depth with what I wrote, but sometimes responses take weeks to arrive (no doubt staff at TNT are swamped as it is).
But I agree 110% with what you said about it needing to be formally placed in the T&C of the site. Morningstar and myself have talked on more than one occasion how greatly we feel a FAQ answering these little questions we players have would not only make life easier for us, but staff as well. Not just spare account questions, but such things as "Is it okay to have a custom shield on my lookup?" etc....etc...
