like you said, you had 13 or so comics accepted straight-away.. so you had what is basically a really good run. I think what the editor is probably trying to do is give all the new comics a chance. I wouldn't take it as anything personal against your comic. It seems some of the other established comics haven't been accepted for a few weeks either... like really confused.

[I also agree with yr opinion on the purple spots, but didn't really find the comic funny, I thought it was a bit heavy-handed.. so maybe it wasn't about yr opinion, maybe the editor really didn't get the joke. I know you don't want people to comment on yr comic here - but if you're going to discuss reasons for rejection it IS relevent.]

That is always a possibility about giving other comics a chance, but then its really ironic that it just happens to be THIS comic, and they send me the "editor doesnt get the comic" instead of the "too many good entries" one...

But there is a special connection between purple and orange in Neopia, so it does make sense to have the two colors together even if some people don't like it. It just wouldn't make sense for them to put a comic in that turns their artwork into the butt of a joke. The purple/orange connection is just too strong in the world of Neopia that they can pull it off without it being nonsense. I would protest like purple and green or something else that doesn't have an obvious explanation

Funny comic. ^_^ I kinda agree with them rejecting it though, I mean why would they put a comic in there that pokes fun at themselves? After more people see that and notice the ugly orange spots, TNT's going to get even more unwanted complaints about it, on top of what they probably already get daily (judging by the oppinion of like 99% of PPT)
Slightly off topic: I like the purple Lupe, he's adorable maybe that's just 'cuz I have one but oh well >.> All the other purple pets suck.
