Blitz still preoccupied with the secrecy and protection of his amulet, did not notice the others anymore, even when two of them cast their luminous stones to the ground like a horrible waste. It seemed to him that the amulet was the only thing that mattered now, other than getting free of course.
Something mysterious then happened. With the brightest glow he had seen from his amulet since he had recieved it, it became white hot and was psychically or telepathically floated from deep within his concealed robes to just about hovering over his head. It still glowed and burned with a prevailing and valiant intensity, it was fierce-om. Blitz looked up from his gaze, and watched it quicly drift over to the floor, where he saw two more stones, with an aura and ambiance almost identical to his. The where beautifully colored as well, amethyst and iron, both glowing fiercely like his own.
He now knew why he had felt the connection between these five people before. They were the keepers of the amulets of Fryn. He had overheard some sages in Gafyn converse about these mythical amulets, all of brilliant color and importance. It is said they hold great power and great wisdom. He could not remember the saying or poem accurately, but remembered bits and pieces.
"Iron of .... Amber of ...
Silver of ... Crystal of ...
... of Fire, ....power of the unknown...."
He knew there were parts missing, but it boggled his mind to try to remember them, so he didn't. He knew many more slaves held the stones of Fryn, and was awaiting their summoning or awakening as he heard the sages comment. "The stones will only be awakened when ....." and that puzzled him too, because he could not remember the ending either, so he didn't.
