I've always pronounced the Neopets names correctly.

I'm such a geek, I went to the pronunciation page and memorized everything.

I don't care what anyone says! I shall forever refer to the Pteri as Pet-tree!

*lets out a sigh of relief* I thought I was the only one!
I feel quite embarrased now. Whenever I see pteri I just automatically see "petree".

Pteri is ok, I've never had trouble with it. But oh, that Grarrl!! *growls* What an evil word!!!. I had to take speech class when I was in elementry school because my "r"s would sound like "w"'s. So that is one evil word. I don't even attempt to pronounce it lol. I just say "the mean looking G one"

HAHA! I had to go to a class for that too! Did you have problems saying 'Road' and 'Word' correctly? I sure did...

I pronounce it Pee-tree. Like the little bird in The Land Before Time. That is what I thought it was based after. :?

I didn't see mention of Lupe yet. I have always pronounced it as Loopay. Stumbled across the pronunciation page some time ago and they say it's Loop, I feel weird saying it correctly. Same with Pteri, I say it the same as everconfused does, and that will never change. Eyrie is Ear-ree, I don't know how some of you say eye-ree.

Aha. OMG that's so cute. My name it's Brie. So. Whenever someone asked me what my name was, I'd tell them 'Bwee'. Although, when someone asks me now, no one ever gets it right the first time.

Heehee - I have always pronounced them correctly as well. Most are logical, and those that aren't, I look up.

I'm the same! I always pronounced lupe as "loo-pay" as in the name renee... I don't think I can bring myself to call it loop, that sounds too dopey.

Yeah, I'll always call it lup-ay. I was embarrassed, I went to a McDonald's for the lupe plushies, and asked for the "lup-ay's". The girl at the counter rolled her eyes and said, "They're loops. You don't play Neopets, do you?" I smiled and said, "I just got the lab map." I felt like such a loser!

Yeah, I saw the McD's commercial, and said "that's not how you say blumaroo!" So I went to the pronunciations, and it was right. And Mynci. How do you even form that word correctly in your mouth?! I say "min-see", but the pronunciation thing makes it seem like you have to get your mouth wired shut to say it correctly.

I was into dinosaurs when I was a kid. I've learned to pick out silent p's (eg: pterodactyl).

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

I usally pronounced it Pet-ree or Pe-tree (once again, The Land Before Time)

I never care about other people pronoucation.

Like with Pythagoras. It's pronouced Py-tha-gras but I say it as Py-the-gor-as
