When you say Neopedia, you mean a Neopedia article about the world, right?

That's all for now. Sorry if my questions are slightly obvious I just want to get this task right.

i think its best to ask all the questions now, coz if i was you and i mis-interpreted the task and had to re-do loads of it because of that i'd be v annoyed at myself.

The reason I said that's all for now is becuase I was going to ask another question but i answered it for myself. Then I just thought some other questions might come up later, so I added the extra bit on. There arent any other questions I can think of at the moment.

So we could basically write something like that Lost Desert article with vital stats, and descriptions of the games, and shops there, and that would be our Neopedia article AND our description of the world and its contents?

Yes, you could do that. But I'm not talking a flimsy one page report. This is a description of your WORLD. At least 1 1/2 pages of information.

Ammer, one more question about the Neopedia. Can it be written as a partial story, like most of the other Neopedia's are? (Hannah and the Pirate Caves)
Also, would it be possible for you to keep this open until late Thursday afternoon NST (PST)? I am busy finishing up my entry, and want to make sure I have enough time after school to post it.

Well, hats off to Fizzy. It's a great entry and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I think she would deserve to win. I still like my entry, but, yeah congratulations to Fizzy. Well I'm not going to not sumbit my entry after staying up till 3am and getting up at 8 working on it! So here it is.

Neollywood Island

Location: 300 km East, then 200 km South of Neopia Central
Population: approximately 211,000. 27% Lupe,
25% Uni, 11% Wocky, 10% Kacheek, 9% Kyrii, 7% Kougra, 11% Other (Lupe and Uni derive from Neollywood)
Area: 520 sq. km
GDP: 103 million NP
Weather: One of the few places in Neopia to retain seasons, you can always count on sunshine with temperatures depending on season. Oh, and in winter, it snows hard and true.
Terrain: Most of the island is populated with expensive villas, movie sets and high-street shops, but where you cannot find buildings the terrain is grassy and full of wild flowers.



Neollywood is the latest world to develop in Neopia. It all started out when a movie director, already living in the area, filmed a very successful movie which was very popular with celebrities all over Neopia. Slowly people started moving to Neollywood and there was soon a small town full of stars in expensive houses. The retail industry also realized the potential market in what was being nicknamed “Neollywood” and quickly the expensive shops started establishing themselves. Now we have Neollywood (the name being made official 6 months ago), a buzzing community of over-paid movie stars and other, also over paid, celebrities!

Now, onto the plotline. Have you ever wondered how Neopia stays so youthful? Ever thought about the fact that Marilyn Meerca has been 45 for five years? That no one in Neopia EVER gets older?! Well, now you can have all these questions and more answered. The answer is, simply, the Elixir of Life. Pure green liquid in a bottle that magical keeps youthful whoever possesses it. According to the legends, an ancient faerie brewed it out of the blood of an immortal dark faerie and it has been keeping Neopia young ever since.

But now, a terrible catastrophe has occurred. Neosafe Ltd, the holders of the Elixir of Life, has somehow allowed an unknown intruder steal the Elixir of Life from right under its nose! First everyone was shocked that the elixir had been stolen and their secret exposed to the outer world, but then panic set in throughout Neopia and the scramble to recover the life-preserving liquid started immediately. Shoyru Scout has been called in, along with many other top investigators in Neopia. There are clues being found all over Neollywood, but no one can piece them together to figure out who is responsible for this horrible crime. Let’s just hope someone figures it out soon, or Neopia could start experiencing the terrible thing called death.

Neosafe Ltd.
The second bank of Neopia is said to be the safest bank in the land, but it has recently been under a lot of scrutiny by some of the most important people (and, non-people) of Neopia for failing to keep the Elixir of Life safe. Still, if you wish you may take a visit to Neosafe and open up a bank account or just admire the ultra-modern design made by Neopia’s top architect, Ludwig van der Lupe.

Paparazzi Dash
In one of the hippest and most popular games in Neopia according to Neo Entertainment Magazine™, you play the chauffer of a high profile celebrity. The paparazzi are hot on your tail and it is your job to shake them. You must get your star back to their penthouse home whilst making sure your speed doesn’t drop below 50km/h. If it does, then the paparazzi will have some prime shots of your celebrity and you will be fired (and lose the game). Make it through the different levels to be declared the quickest and best chauffer in Neopia!

Branston’s Beauty Salon
Branston the Eyrie has opened his own beauty salon right here in Neollywood and it’s endorsement by some of the biggest stars of Neollywood is fast making it one of the trendiest salons in Neopia. When Branston was asked why he decided to go into the beauty business he stated: “Everyone knows how ridiculously good I am at dancing and it makes them forget how stunningly beautiful I am. I thought I should give everyone the chance to try to feel how I do everyday!”. So why not go down there today and see for yourself if it’s as good as it’s made out to be!

Red Carpet Cinema
Just one of the many top cinemas in Neollywood, Red Carpet stands out because of its impressive list of important movie premiers and events. You can go to a movie (for a high price) or go to the Red Carpet Shop which sells a wide variety of celebrity memorabilia and alike things. What ever you do, keep a look out for those stars; you’re likely to see one hanging around the Red Carpet Cinema somewhere!

The Audition Ace
This is a fun game for any aspiring actor. You are given a script to look at for a brief time then you have to say (type) it back to the producer not only accurately, but with the appropriate tone of voice (there is a list to choose from). Make your way through the increasingly difficult levels and you might even be the next big thing to hit Neollywood!

Neostar Country Club
Membership to the most prestigious of all the country clubs in Neollywood is most coveted by many Neopians. It is very exclusive and only lets the biggest stars in. Fortunately, Ringo Shoyru has decided to take you for a visit as his guest! You can stay in a luxurious villa suite, go and rejuvenate in the super relaxing spa or try yourself on the challenging golf course.

Luigi’s ‘Resterante’
Luigi made the change from his Neopia Central Pizzaroo to Neollywood hot-spot restaurant just a few months back, but business has been booming ever since. With a well established reputation and a batch of stylish new pizza’s (Including the most expensive pizza in the world, Chive and Caviar Omelet Pizza), Luigi could hardly go wrong, and neither can you if you go to Luigi’s for a mesmerizing meal you wont forget!

Rufus’s Fruit Market
This small fruit market is truly one of the hidden gems of Neollywood. After being crowned Grand Bogen, Rufus decided to set up a fruit market selling all his favorite fruits. Trouble is, not many people know about it which means Rufus still needs another job, limiting his time at the market. Rufus is only there selling fruit for about 4 hours, but if you are lucky enough to catch him you might just find yourself munching on some of the best fruit in Neopia.

Nucci
The name says it all. Nucci, stockers of the best and highest quality clothing and accessories in the world are here in Neollywood. Be prepared to shovel out those hard earned neopoints if you are hoping to shop here, as not even the buttons on the tux’s come cheap. Still, there is no other place to go if you need something high-street to wear to that exclusive dinner party or important event.


The Neo-Rock
The Neo-Rock consists of three parts. The café/bar, hotel and main attraction, the casino. The café and bar attracts some of the wildest night life in Neollywood and is well known for its Krawkish Kruisers, Lupin’ Lagoons and Scorchio Sunrises, said to be the best (and dearest) cocktails in Neollywood. The hotel has 500 (yes, you heard me, 500) rooms including themed rooms (including faerie and rock star) and extravagant penthouse suites. Many traveling stars prefer the Neo-Rock because of the outstanding quality of the service and rooms. The biggest attraction of the Neo-Rock is the casino. It’s got all your gambling wants covered from Krawps and JubJub Blackjack to Brucey B Slots and Neopoker. The Neo-Rock truly is the greatest café and bar/hotel/casino in Neollywood!
