Ipod

Hopefully i'm going to get one this onday. i'm so excited. Does anyone else have one or is planning to get one?

I'd like to get one of the pink ones...maybe that's what I'll ask for Christmas this year. I don't really know much about them though.

I was debating whether or not to get one, but I decided not to. I wouldn't use it enough, and I'm trying to save for when I go overseas.

I dislike Ipods. personally I don't see the point in having a music player that holds 20/40Gb of music, I'd never want to listen to all my albums one after the other, plus unless you can only listen to Itunes music, unless you find a certain program which allows mp3's etc to be put on.

If I was going to get a mass storage music device I'd get a different make, as I find the Ipods over priced and I hate anything from Apple.

I-pods are pretty, I-pod minis are prettier ^^ The pink ones are cute.

I have an Ipod-Mini... And I love it...
I was on a 4 month waiting list, and even when I got it the earphones had to be sent back, but everything else is fine.

duke university gave ALL THEIR INCOMING FRESHMEN free ipods this year!

apparently they're trying to use ipods as educational devices, saying people can use them to record lectures and store notes. but really, people use ipods to listen to music during class and steal expensive programs off school computers.

all the same, maybe i should have gone to duke this year.

yeah I read that, the Ipods come with a timetable software and other tools students can use. I wonder how long it is till some student wipes the programs off it :evil:

I'm saving for an iPod. 40 GB, as I have one heck of a lot of music/CDs. I'd rather not have 2+ GB (at the moment) of music on my iBook. Takes up too much space.

And I do need something that'll be able to hold GBs worth of info from my computer.

three reasons not to get and ipod:

1) its from apple
2) crap battery (its from apple)
3) its from apple

as you can see, I don't like anything from Apple

I'll agree with that, but that's my only complaint. Other than that, I love mine. I take it with me almost everywhere. It's easier to carry around than my CD player and I like having all my music with me. It's also nice knowing that if it was somehow lost or stolen, I've still got all my music backed up on my computer, and would be cheaper to replace that all my CDs plus a CD player.

Plus, putting all the songs on shuffle is always fun. ^_^
