Okay, once again ENT has done something without thinking about it for more than 5 minutes. They apparently did a rollback, which affected some accounts (namely, the a,i,q area that they seem to hate) but not all. (Notice how they can't do a rollback for a major glitch that results in hundreds of accounts getting hacked or frozen, but they can do one for no apparent reason?) I happen to be one of the lucky ones, hit with the last 3 neo-caused glitches. I lost 5 hours of work yesterday. I was preparing for a big shop sale, so I was looking up all the items on the TP. Not only did I lose all of the pricing work I did, but I also lost all the deals I found. Plus, my gorgeous safsfas plushies are gone. They're still in the TP, but not in my inventory. I won one of them from BTY, so I am obviously NOT pleased about it. But I didn't get any of my np back, so I'm down to 22k in the bank and about 35k total. I sent in a report about it, but I don't have high hopes that anything will be done. If nothing changes this time I'll probably be quitting neo, not because of the items, since I could easily get them back again, but because ENT's blatant disregard for any of their users means that no items or np are safe, ever. Any work could be erased in a heartbeat, all on the whim of neopets. If I'm gonna work my butt off for something, I'd at least like to know that it's not going to disappear some day and never come back. I'm not gonna waste time somewhere if there's absolutely no benifit to being there.

Well be glad it wasn't like the rollback trenopets.com just got.
It rolled back to before it had members.

even so, it's just not right to do something like this. Warn us, or prepare something in recompense, because it's not worth it to work and work if a week later you end up at the very same place you started from.

lol I didn't come up with that, someone else did. (The E means evil. :P )

Anyway, that's kind of my point. At least TELL us, so we don't think you don't care about us at all.

I know how you feel, I lost 600k myself, more if the trades I bidded on dissapear (but I am afraid to withdraw my offers). I was annoyed this morning but now I consider myself lucky since some BDers lost 7-45 million worth of items and NP.

Yeah, my Giant Spyder Web's stuck in limbo. And like I said, it's not the money or the items, it's the fact that time spent on there can be erased so easily.

*Edit* Ahh, yes, I just found all the stuff I removed from the SDB to put in my shop is gone, neither in my shop nor in my SDB. I had 400+ items.

Ahhh!! Not good, not good at all. I'm in the category, and I lost several items!! I had restocked in the book shop and hadn't quite put them in my shop, and now they're gone, along with a ten dubloon I got from Coltzan. (yeah, yeah, I know, it's not a lot, but re are a big source of my income, especially when I play NQII alot.)

:( Hope you get your stuff back, but it's not looking too good right now. :K I play NQ2 alot, too, and I got hit with the NQ2 glitch a while back. I made it past that point, but I'm still steamed about having to re-play most of Chapter 3.

To be honest, I'm glad everyone wasn't affected, cause I really don't want everyone to suffer along with me, just to see why ENT needs to make some changes. But it's really sad that most of my friends have a name that starts with a,i,q, so most of the people I know lost a lot of stuff.

I wrote about this late last night in the topic called "OK, this has to be the weirdest glitch yet." Several people have already posted on it and you can read about it here: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=806.

Not only did my secondary account's nps and shops roll back to what they were two days prior, but I lost about 1/2 of one of my galleries. I can see the missing items on the shop wiz, so maybe there is hope of getting it back.

But, hey, I feel I am one of the lucky ones. If my gallery comes back *crosses fingers*, I only lost a day's work as a reseller. My heart goes out to all of those poor people who won BTY and got the plushie and now don't have the plushie or the nps they sold it for. That would hurt!

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

I'm one of those people, star. But I bought an extra, and now I have neither the plushie nor the np. *sniff* I read that topic, but I guess I didn't make the connection with the current glitch.

amarise, you have my utmost support and I really feel your pain.

And, I agree with you totally. TNT should either warn us about this or create a support dept just to investigate missing items. Better yet, maybe they should anticipate getting tons of new players when they do a big promotion like the McDonald's giveaway--and have the new servers ready and in place before the giveaway.

I mean, honestly, could you imagine a bank or stock trading company like Charles Schwab getting away with this? Oh, I hear the cries already--"but the site is free" and "you don't pay for it so be happy with whatever service Neopets doles out to you." To answer those people: Yes, we do pay for the site--with our time and with our support of the sponsors. Without its players making huge investments of time into the site (causing sponsors to jump at the chance to advertise to all of us), Neopets would be just another flash in the pan!
