Andrew, saying music by pop groups is a bit closeminded of you. A lot of Oldies are classified under pop and are very good Pop Groups aren't just Atomic Kitten or McFly.

really!!! yes, I know older songs are classed as pop, but I've had to listen to BBC Radio 2 a fair bit on car journeys (stupid mp3 player battery) and its horrible, I hate Terry Wogan too. (saves for another possible topic).

Quite easily. I hate Terry Wogan. He's all sarcastic about a song, then praises it at the end. Example, he said "and now where they stab their guitars into the amps, how rock n' roll" then when the song had finished "a great classic, by The Clash" I liked the song too (I fought the law). Grrrr
