Well, I use three browsers, and Neopets seems to be suitable for only IE...

it sounds like thy need to code the page so it somehow forces the image to refresh. is that possible?

It's not a problem with Mozilla, it's a problem with IE. :P

Somebody just needs to add a no-cache header. Really, I'd be astonished if Firefox can't be configured not to cache images from neopets. Actually, set your cache size to 0. That should kill off that problem.

I have the same problem in Netscape. Eliminating your cache works, or if you have a super-fast internet connection you could just refresh the page.

Sounds like a glitch on Neopets' part.

Don't suggest that to anyone using dial-up, or they'll be getting ten-miniute pageloads.

Even for DSL (256kbps) it will cause you to load pages 1-2 secs slower, which is enough to cause you to miss rare items.
