Havn't been on this thread for a while..

Anyway, Velm has just gotten to level 46, and I'm wondering what to spend his skill point on. He's at level 11 for Group Healing and Shielding, and the Innates. If I want to max out those 4 skills, I'd probably only have around 5 skill points left over for his 5th skill right? So which one should it be: Mesmerization or Celestrial Hammer?

As for the other chars.. Rohane's got Critcal Attack, Damange Increase, and the Innates all at 11. Stunning Strikes for the 5th skill good? Damage Shield or Group Haste for Mispy?

And I'm about to fight the four faeries (I'm still on Normal). Level 46 for all good enough?

Whee. That's enough questions for now. :D I thought I'd finish NQII this summer, but school starts in 3 days and I'm only in the Haunted Woods, alas.

Ideally, you would have a 5x11+4 strategy. Most of the time, however, it's best not to expend the last 8 points before you beat Terask I.

Stunning strikes is not good this late in the game -- Terask resists, normal monsters die anyway. Then again, little to nothing has it's full effect here. (I'd consider getting Taunt if I had spare points, otherwise make sure to max out Innates, Critical attacks and Damage increase (including weapon bonuses, so ideally that would only be 11 skills in each)).

Velm... get Healing. Mesmerization is not useful (Terasks can't be mesmerized, and you probably use group damage skills). Celestial hammer is often resisted. If you have sufficient points to get Healing to work out, do it (saved Mipsy's life on insane).

Mipsy... damage shields are good, group haste is good. Your pick. I'd go with group haste, as it will speed up your monster battles (and allow you to be hasted on Terask II if you run out of potions).

Does the group slieding for Velm do any good? I seem to do just as good without it then with.

I'm an old member, back in the day, I use to rule the battledome board use to post on everything and be everywhere, I was popular back then. Now I'm a nobody, forgotten in the wind. Poor me.

It does. Once you put a good number of points into that ability, you will notice that monsters tend to do less damage and magic is often blocked.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

To the end of chapter 4 I started putting points in his shielding, as faerieland monsters hit hard. I''d deafinitely reccomend it. When I fought Terask II, I ALWAYS:

- Kept my people hasted with Speed of Light Potions
- Kept him slowed
- Kept Velm's shielding up

vivian - Try level 47 ;) They're easy picking then. I still PWNED em at lvl 48.

So hrm. Battle Taunt, Healing and Group Haste. Thanks.

Talinia's shockwave still works on Terask, right?

OK, I beat evil the other day. Now, should I try insane!? I mean, terask II clobbered me the first time I fought him on evil and I don't know if I want to put in 24 hours of work just to lose to the final boss. But if I won, it would do wonders for my battledome set. I got scuzzy's comb from evil and that has already helped me a TON! I have tons of free time even though school is starting because I'm homeschooled (YAY!). So what do you recomend?

I think it does, though I've heard that it doesn't work on Insane.

ok, well I have decided to try to beat IsAnE! *thunder*. Now, what level should I be at before I head off to the mine? Right now I am level 5. I know that there is no perfect combo on where to spend you skill points but what do you recomend? Right now I have all 4 points in damage increase and I am gonna put the next one is magic resistance. After that where should I spend 'em?

dont put your next skill in resistance, since the boss doesnt have magic powers, just boost up your damage first. and you should challenge him at level 7 (for all bosses, you should level up 2 more levels than on normal)

Yes, I think I was about level 7 or so - I'm currently on my way to Zombom after putting the game off for months.
