Remember how for months after the Ixi came out, it only came in about half-a-dozen colours, mostly recolours?

Yurbles now come in 14 colours, and Rukis 6...I think they should build them up to about 20 each, then add a few more as time goes on.

It's not quite Mutant Day...we could still get a really good Mutant Acara.

Also, the release of the Mutant Ruki will be accompined by a Ruki Transmog, which will no doubt be cheaper than the morphing potions, is good news for people target-zapping Rukis.

Actually, if you look at the Invisible Mynci card in the TCG, you'll notice that both its footprints and the fruit it's holding are visible. And personally, I think that's how the Invisible pets should be done... you should be able to see footprints (or perhaps "displaced" bubbles or air in the case of pets that don't touch the ground - like the Koi and Korbat) and certain items, like the Ixi's collar and Usul's bow.

Well, that's how I see it anyway. I'm not sure if I explained it too well though...

I hate when people suggest that invisible pets should just be "faded"...the people who already own invisible wouldn't want that, and the people who don't own invisible wouldn't want it either, because it'd just be a partially "washed out" version of a normal neopet. Completely lame. Yes, worse than no pet at all.

Articles of clothing ought to be visible though, yes, or at LEAST have floating bandages in the beaten poses.



BAH! Insects are harmless, adorable and cool-looking, esspecially cockroaches! I have a giant madagascar hissing cockroach I raised from a tiny baby...she likes eating marshmallow peeps! She hollows them out and sleeps in them. I wish I were small enough to do that.

Though I guess a smarter wish would be for a large enough peep.

....anyway, the mutant ruki is what I've always, ALWAYS wanted in a neopet! I was thrilled when the Ruki came out because the Buzz was never insect-like enough, but this one is even more insectoid! I've GOT to get one even if it costs all my savings...

I must agree though that it could pass for tyrannian...it isn't very mutant-like, and neither are the new mutant petpets except for the Fir (which I LOVE!). When I think "Mutant", I expect something deformed and kinda "pitiful", like Gollum on LOTR...you know, something creepy and weird, not just something "evil" looking - we have other colors for that.

Course, it's kinda hard to make an insect look deformed. If a lenny mutates into a buzzard, I can see the ruki mutating into a cockroach - they are very close relatives to Mantids. It also looks a little like a hornet or longhorn beetle.

Or a giant vernax. It even has the same tail!

Whoa! That mutant ruki is cool! I hope they would release a transmogrification potion with it. If they do, I'me buying one for Rukens.

Yeah! And its Sunday so I hope this means we get a whole weekend of training!

And, good job on your new gallery background by the way, I was getting excited for kyrii day too so I went & looked.

I like the new images...except...TNT can't make up its mind how many fingers kyrii have!! Didja notice that most older pics have 2 fingers and these new ones have 3? Now how am I supposed to know how to draw them? Not that I ever get in the art gallery anyway... Oh well, still looking forward to it! I would be happy to get a simple, decent-looking Shadow color.

Edit: also is it just me or does it look like that baby is eating the toy rings like donuts or something

I like it, and don't like it, well I like...well its this wierd set of emotions in play with this. I like it though, I like how its eyes are its giant fangs are coming out of its mouth and all, reminds me of Egore for some reason, odd.

I thought I would let everyone know, the predator still exists, there had been two of it so they changed one to the new "horned" look. The horned one is listed as space petpet 4 and this one:

is listed as 10

They will probably change some of the other doubles too.

I had only just noticed that actually, if you look at the Kyrii Day front page image, and conpair it to the fun image of the better than you host, they have different amounts of fingers! Maybe the old ones where shy and hid their extra finger? Or maybe they evolved to gain another digit? Thanks for putting a link on your pet page to my gallery btw, I've still got a thank you for you in there. I've also put a Kyrii Day 2004 countdown in there!

Good find! but....UGH I knew it! I hate grey, but I just knew they'd do that to the poor kyrii! Why can't we have Shadow, or Halloween released, or something cool like Royal? Bleahhh....think happy thoughts ladyredhat...*training*...

Edit: Ahh, even the grey has 3 fingers! I hope this doesn't mean they'll revamp all the normal kyrii to look Disney-fied like other revamps. OK as icky as grey is, the angry pose is kind of cool, it actually looks angry as opposed to ready to die like most grey pets. Trying to find something good here...

They may be harmless,but I can't help but being scared. I try hard not to be scared of them and I usually don't kill them..but..but...

I think mice are cute but when I was a child I saw one and I got scared of it..its just something I can't control.
