Dude, that's three of us for NJ... if all PPT people around NJ coordinated and went on the same day, we could like organize a major protest about the freeze bots...

(or not)
Actually, I hate to burst any bubbles, but that wouldn't do too much good. Except for the two artists, no one at the Tour actually worked for Neopets. I asked. Most of the people that worked at the different activities were local people and were hired just to work those 2 days. The rest worked for Sitelines Productions, the production agency that designed and managed the tour.
From a recent article on icv2.com:
"Wizards of the Coast is sponsoring a ten-city mall tour to promote its Neopets Trading Card Game, beginning in July. Designed to engage kids that have never played a TCG before as well as active fans, a 3100 square foot set will feature theatrical features, elaborate displays, and murals. Among the activities are live action demonstrations with oversized cards; learn-to-play clinics, which give each kid a 2-player starter game; artists signing cards and sketching pets; on-site league play; and a "trading zone" where fans can trade cards.
All ten stops are at Simon Property Group malls. Production company Sitelines Productions designed and will manage the tour. BRC Group, a San Francisco event marketing firm, will handle marketing for the events."
Wizards of the Coast is a company that makes all of the trading cards and is owned by Hasbro. So, in essence, it was an event sponsored by Hasbro to get all of us to buy more TCG cards.
But it wasn't all bad. I just redeemed the virtual prize codes I got from the 5 booster packs that I had won. I got about 25K in nps and 30K in prizes. Not too shabby for 3 hours of walking up and down the mall.
Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
