why not have a war where you apply for side a or b, and when you click "Ready to battle" you fight against a random person from side b, that would be cool!

Probably because they haven't thought of it? Or just think the players wouldn't be interested..

I played that - just one game. Drove me nuts, I can't even tell you why. But I will say this...being on dial up, most of the games have been awful since the beginning of the Meridell plot when they brought Shockwave back. This new game? Yeah, it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to load, but once it did, it was one of the smoothest games I've played in awhile. No little pauses, stutters, locking up.

Maybe they're making more of the games shockwave? Like, I know technically they kind of are? But you didn't have to d/l shockwave - just flash - to play games. Just a thought since games have been down so long. Either that or adding this new game truly messed up some programming somewhere else.
