Have the fonts below size 10 font looked so strange? I always thought before that it was at least readable, just really tiny, but look at it now:

Look at me...I'm font size 8!

as opposed to 10, which is definitely legible

Size 10 looks so much better!

Nothing to do with PPT - it's just likely that you've updated your browser, and it now uses ClearType to render fonts. Observe what happens when you magnify ordinary text:

I know that size nine (on Gaia, atleast. It's still phpBB) on Opera looks smaller, but size ten is larger.
And then on Mozilla they look the same. XD

I use...I think a nine for the small text in my signature.
But yeah. Eight looks really weird.

It might be worth noting (although this is semi-off-topic) that if the way small fonts look bothers you (like it does for me) then you can set your browser to use a "minimum font size" of 8 or 9 so that smaller fonts are all rendered as that size. The only major problem is that you may be exposed to spoilers that were originally written in size 1 font....

*nods* no problem ^_^ I changed mine because some sites had really small fonts that were hurting my eyes, and anyway I think it's easier to read and doesn't get all annoying and stuff. XD
