Most backward countries like NZ have limits on how much you can download due to the evil corporations that have failed to install real internet cabling in the country.

That's completely opposite the purpose of IT!

IT has two purposes: 1)Make sure the network is stable and secure and 2)Prepare all-night frag fests!

Anyway, back on topic: while I'd love it since I have no strange quotas, it would be mean to the users who do.

I actually saw this type of forum coding recently being used in a forum. i thought it was an error or something. :D but yeah, having a link to the video works just as well, and it would save on load time for a computer. Having videos load up via this suggested format in every post would be similar to loading an image in every post...lag time. :o

There are some videos that load on their own. XD

It'd be good nice idea, but it'd clutter the forums.
And my internet's not limited (although with AT&T, I wonder...), but it's really slow, which is something else that wasn't thought of. Dial-up users. ;)

I feel for you. I really do, but I haven't had to deal with dialup since '98, so I'm a little rusty on the pains of it, and most Americans are nowadays, 80% of active internet users use broadband.

You know, those of us on dial-up aren't exactly having the time of our lives with our five-minute page loads as it is. Please don't treat us like second-class citizens just because we're a minority group. It may take five minutes to load the ACLU's webpage, but it only takes thirty seconds to call them and have them harangue you for the rest of your life!
