Why are we no longer the temporary forums?

Why is everyone bringing up that excuse? PPT is just the same but without good smilies and usergroups. What matters is the body and soul of PPT- the members. And all the dedicated ones are here.

Post counts are all well and good, but ask yourself a question...

Do you think PPT will be here until the day you die? If not, then why are you bothered? This is the umpteenth restart in PPT's forum history. It will happen again, I can assure you. Therefore don't get too hooked on your post count as inevitably it will go back to zero again at some stage or another. If it's a reflection of your commitment you're after, ask your fellow members what they think of you instead.

btw, I think you're lovely, even with a small post count.

Are you Bob as in Ex-Admin Bob? If so welcome back!!

I don't care if the old PPT comes back or not, as long as we have this one. Post counts are just a number, and to tell you the truth, usergroups take a total of around 5 minutes to make so if the admins feel the old PPT won't come back they can make it just like old times.

Well, we have each other and thats the core of PPT. It isn't the post count, or the usergroups that are important. Its the fact that we, the members, are a group of friends. To slightly paraphrase Fiddelysquat over AIM when I told her that some people would make fun of me if they knew I came here,

I think we all (or most of us) have a friend something like that on PPT. If we have our friends, why the heck do we NEED the old forums. Forums, posts, usergroups, styles- all of that can be replaced. It's the people who MAKE those things that matter.

Unfortunately all my Roleplays were wiped out by people not caring BEFORE PPT switched servers- so hey, I'm not complaining about losing RPs because of the switch! Hmm... mebbe I could get Furcadia to donate smiles? Furcadia has good smilies.
