The other thread has nearly 10 pages, and it is just discussing the new banners. Most people probably won't read all the way to page 9 to see my post about blocking the ads/white space entirely - so I made a topic about it. Why on Earth would this topic need to be closed? Most people probably won't see the info now because it's either buried in a long thread or the thread dedicated to it has been locked and bumped off the page.
