Rather than sheer laziness, it is actually difficult locating specific threads too, especially if you are participating in many games/contests. They all have many pages and are frequently splitted, and some have 2 or more boards for the same game, 1 board for each team and a commentary thread too. Coupled with the numerous set-contests and word game threads like "Person above you", "What's on your Ctrl-V etc", and the NNV board is a confusing jungle.

And I don't like the idea of making a whole new board just to deal with it.
Could you elaborate further?
We have explained our stand and why we feel this should be improved, maybe you can tell us what difficulties/disadvantages there are in dividing the NNV into two boards (not as sub-forums).
NNV is no more confusing then you make it. If you can't keep track of what you're participating in, then it can easily be said you are trying to do too much at once.
The Pointless Rps are very rare now adays, I can't find any at the moment in the first two pages, which to me would involve them not being overly popular. And since theres so few, it could easily be argued that NNV is home to...
Set Contests
Games
Giveaways
Making a whole other board, for NNV, IMO, would be a waste of a board. There have been a lot of other board proposals before this one, many of which I would rather see first but that is personal preference. What I believe to be an easier solution, would be to completely disallow set contests, and just have people be able to request, that way, people are gyped for prizes, and no one gets hurt (it does happen.).
Ontop of this, as has already been pointed out, if you clean up the boards, they'll get messy again. Even if you divide the set contests out into a seperate board or subforum, then it will still be just as hard to search through the games. And the games, what with all the splits, will always be hard to search through. The simple answer to this is to limit the ammount of pages one game is allowed to take up, or to confine the game chat to an offsite area. Rather then create a whole new board.
Not to mention... that if you look at how many locked topics there are in NNV, after the first page, you'd realise that the mod staff, aren't having much of a problem looking after it.
The board is dealt with fine. It's not really a problem to make a new board, or a subforum... in the end (though i'm not sure if sub forums are compatible with PPT at the moment, i'm not a technical superstar afterall), but I just don't see the point in making a whole new board or sub forum for it. I don't feel that NNV deserves a subforum, or a new board, and I don't think it should get one.
Did I elaborate enough, or should I go deeper into the matter?
Evisceration is a sign of respect.
