Point me in the right direction?

Can someone please point me in the sig and avatar restrictions direction? I didn't think I was doing any wrong, and I got a good portion of my signature removed, and now feel very...I don't know, embarassed. If someone would have just PMed me I would have taken it out....so someone please point me in this direction so I don't get upset and angry and embarassed to this point again.

Is there an image limit to pictures in your signature?
Yes - 400px width, 100px height. And the image must not exceed 50kb.

What is the limit on avatars?
80x80px, and a size of 25kb.

I think also, though avatars and sigs can be 25kb and 50kb respectively, the combined total has to be under 50kb.

Nope. You're welcome to use a 25kb avatar and a 50kb signature (it wouldn't be nice, but that's how things work).

I knew the 50k signature..but I thought the vaatra was 6k!

The avatar limit used to be 6k, but after the recent revamp, they increased the size limit to 25k.
