SHARKY wrote:The first monstrosity is the Kym Huynh spam plastered all over the website. I don't know who the hell that is, but whoever it is is cluttering up the site really badly. What does PinkPT have to do with this guy.
SHARKY wrote:The next abomination of web design is the huge, gigantic, obstructive ads on your web site. I understand that all web sites need ads to stay alive, but this is just plain wrong. See, when there are so many ads stamped all over the place like that, it actually makes it impossible to find anything. They are flashing so many different colours it gives me a headache. You are going to get sued one day because an epileptic guy is going to die from your website. When the ads get so intrusive like this, that it actually causes people to leave your web site, you know you fail in life.
SHARKY wrote:the next thing is that there are messed up, random links and information all over the place. Do we really need to know what the secret snow wager times are? why can't you just put all that stuff together on s SEPARATE PAGE? And all those colourful buttons going along the right side of the page. It makes be puke. They don't match the colours of your site at all.
SHARKY wrote:It's quite sad. The first thing people see when the click your link is just a big wad of crap. they have to scroll down two page widths just to get to the news. why is there a stupid tagbox if you have a forum? Do you really need the subscribe to our newletter thing right in our faces the moment we click? We don't know anything about your site yet, so why would we automatically type our emails in so you can send us your spam? anyone who look one look at your site would be scarred off forever.
SHARKY wrote:Neopets quick links. Useless. How many people can honestly say that they ever used that? there are hundreds of toolbars and programs that can just automatically click everything for you if you let it run for 2 minutes. who will visit your site for the quick links? they are completely out of place, and add to the clutter.

Ok, so anyone who disagrees with you is automatically a spaming troll?
First off, Kym is the site owner, Yukio, Shoryu Lover, etc. He has the right to plaster the website in whatever he wants.
Of course he does. But that isn't what I am talking about
Secondly, adds? I have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to even see one. minus Kyms own ads.
Probably because your desktop resolution is 1600x1200. Most people use 1024x768 or 800x600. My resolution is 1152x876, which is considered above average.
Thirdly, they aren't affiliates, they're more of PPTs websites. If you look at the web address (being pinkpt.com/) you would figure that out.
They don't need to be in the way like that.
Fourthly, the whole point of the buttons is to stand out. They essentially link to the most popular parts of the webstite. The site has been redesigned dozens of times to add in things like these at the request of users.
Too colourful, too bold. Completely offsets the balance of the site.
Fifthly, the news is still on the first scoll page bar for me, I refer back to my screenshot. Move to a higher screen resolution or go away. We aren't forcing you to read it. Some people don't want to join a forum.
Thats because you are using a super-high resolution.
The quick links? I'd rather use them then clutter up my window with a toolbar, you yourself being the advocate of uncluttered.
Sorry man , but if I were a professor I'd give your rant a big, fat, "f". You rant reminds me of my pet internet trolls posts, its argument all over the place, not particularly substantial and rather self serving.
