*welcomes you* I have a Chinese friend who often suffers from boredom and likes anime and manga too. I think you would get along...of course, I often suffer from boredom and like anime and manga, so I guess we might get along just as well. 
I'm not Asian though, but I think/hope you'll be able to look past that!
