Wanted to say hi

Wed Nov 29, 2006 6:33 am

I'm new but there isn't any reason to jump up and say hi :P . I joined the site because it looks really nice and I figured if I had a question you all wouldn't jump at me like most people do on the neo boreds  . I'm a 32 stay at home/mother/teacher to my 9 year old daughter who I home school. Now don't anybody get all Dr. Phil on me because you saw the word home school :P . Anyway I love to play neopets when I have a spare minute but I don't have many :( . I belong to a few other forums that I try and hang out at ....www.mlparena.com is where you can find all you desire about My little pony....I love those plasitc little toys>.<. Think that is about it ....I'm never good at intros sorry...if you want to know anything you can ask me :D

Welcome to PPT. *Hands my famous welcome drink Image *
Yes, PPT isn't as fast as neoboards. Neoboards is really crowded. But PPT's much better as neoboards is filled with scams and newbs (no I don't mean newbie) while PPT isn't. So I hope you won't mind if response isn't immediate. We'll try to be as fast as we can, though. :)
Ooh! I love My Little Pony too! It's really pretty. <3
Have fun here! :)

Welcome to PPT. Watch out for the indigenous animals (PPTers) that bite, hiss, and grope.

Welcome to PPT. I should be the one welcoming you since it was my brother who was the huge My Little Pony fan. Hope you have fun here!

Hands out mochi and taiyaki.

Welcome! Stay, don't leave! Hope you have an excellent time while you're here, because otherwise... uh... Have a good time!

I've never actually played with My Little Pony. My cousin has, though. Does that make my cousin smarter than me? OH NOES.

What he means is, watch out for Christopher. Watch out for anyone who has a name beginning with C, actually. No, you don't want to know why. That's a secret of people who've been here for years, and we aren't telling. Well, I'm not anyway. Other people might. I don't know. Perhaps the 10,000 posters would? But then, where are Lillie and Chromefox? I see Lillie, from time to time, but oh, the people who have left! You're almot lucky to have not met them! Wah.

Hiya Spitsfireatspeedy, welcome to PPT!

I used to watch the My Little Pony, Hello Kitty's Paradise and the Care Bears cartoons (and some of the Care Bears feature film spinoffs in the 80s) when I was younger.

Even PPT isn't as fast as neoboards. The PPTers are much more mature than the Neoboarders.

Anyway... Have fun!

Hey Spitsfireatspeedy! Welcome to the forums!

Don't worry, there are loads of homeschoolers on the site (including me, actually). How long have you been homeschooling your daughter?

I used to be a huge fan of My Little Ponies, but I'm more of a Breyer horse gal these days. I still think they're fun, though. Do you collect the new ponies or the old ones or both?

*gives you a pony-shaped cake* See you around the site! :D

Hello, welcome to PPT!

We never had a TV so I was always cut out from that world.
Ah no matters.

Enjoy your stay here!

Welcome! You like MLPs? You have officially become a cool person in the eyes of Meer, *nods* I've been obsessed with them since I was 4. *cough* and I am now 24 >.>

You'll like it here. People are much much nicer than the people on the neoboards. And much crazier too. But the good kind of crazy!

Welcome to the PPT forums Spits! As I'm sure you've realized, you will find lots of things you have in common with different people here. I love My Little Pony...oh the toys of my childhood. Enjoy posting and meeting lots of new people here!

*gives welcome punch and pie*

Welcome. Nice avatar! :)

. Gosh guys I feel so welcomed here unlike over at neopets :P . I wasn't looking for fast replies to topics people have a life like I do so when I get answers I get um :D . I really love slower paced places because you have more fun anyway. As for the My little pony my daughter collects what we pony nerds call g3's or 3rd generation but she also loves the old g1's and has guite a few of those. I have lost count after 200  . I have a small small little collection of my own but I have to share with her ;) . We are die hard fans of My little pony but aren't as hard core as some....one mom spent over 5 grand on 2 ponies :o few weeks back! I love ponies too but do you know what you could do with that money? I can name a few
Meer,
Come on over and check out the pony place it's fun and the kicker is we all get to see the new ponies that are coming out before they hit the shelves because there is a toy guy that sells toys and Hasbro sends photos of future merchandise :D . to him. Yes I know I suck at writting don't rub it in >.<. People in there collect....just buy for their kid....don't collect but like to hang out etc. I'm a junkie over there I have over 10,000 posts in little over 2 year time frame ;) .
PuddingofEvil,
This is my second year venture home schooling my daughter. I never imagined myself doing this but when life hands you lemons you make lemonaid right? I'm a cheeseball I know :P . Where I live we have 2 private schools and 2 public ones. I did send "Monkey" as I so fondly call her to private school from preschool through second grade and then pulled her out. Her teacher was verbally abusive to her amongst other things and it was just a bad experience at the school. The other private school although might be a tad bit better they have combined grades and I don't like that idea. Putting her in public school wasn't something I wanted to venture into especially after she had such a bad experience with a teacher I couldn't see taking a chance to have her go something like that again. She is very happy and well adjusted now :D . I'm glad to see there are other home schoolers around :D . Thanks guys again for the warm welcome I really apperciate it:).
