i found it most effective to shout first, then search on the floor, then wail arms, then lastly run my hands along the cave walls (sure that i didn't miss anything)
keep on, you'll be sure to reach the end of the caves.
It also helps to make a list saying what to do when you pull an arm/leg at the Wraith Caves. For example...
The tendrils pulse threateningly. Pull _____ The tendrils ripple oddly. Pull _____ The tendrils undulate slowly. Pull _____ The tendrils vibrate gently. Pull _____ The tendrils waver strangely. The tendrils... etc.
To make this list, I typed all the phrased in on MS Paint, then typed also "left arm, left leg, right arm, right leg". When you get to this part, pick a random arm/leg from the list on Neopets. Be sure to remember what the tendrils did. If nothing gets stuck on you, select the arm/leg on Paint, and move it next to pull. If it doesn't work, then pick up the word, place it next to it, and place an "X" through the word. When you finish your chart, keep it for the next Neopet, as this chart can carry on(you can use it for every Neopet you find). As most plots go, the arm/leg you pull will differ from other users.
I also made a mistake, clicking "left arm" instead of "left leg". It still worked, so there is a possibility that there are multiple answers to each tendril's move. I wouldn't suggest trying to find out if another arm/leg works, because if it doesn't, you have to start all over freeing the Neopet .
Two chapters with no new steps. I'm hoping we'll get one for the weekend, though that would be rather close on the heels of the last one. Maybe Monday or Tuesday, we'll get another long dose of battling?
Finally the plot moves forward. Read the new chapter 12, then head on over to the battle dome. Perhaps someone will come up with a guide for each step soon?
I don't know about the first of the fearless deeds, but I got the other two...
Medium Rare - I found this one in the bargain bin! - I used the Trumpet of Blasting in battle, but I understand it works with any weapon that has a rarity between 45 and 50. (per the page here http://www.neopets.com/~BRANYM )
It's a Magic Number - Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. - Beat an enemy in three turns.

Now this is going to be a challenge, my first attempt at the commander I drew. I hope to be able to get at least all the deeds and maybe take down the easy enemies.
New step, without the Battledome. (two steps at once) This new step will deal with other users. To complete, you need at least 3 other people. Guide here.
Part 1: When I used the HTML checker, it didn't work. If you want to try by hand, here's what you do: Select the first three runes. Guess. If it works, great! If not, you'll have to keep going.
QWERT Runes Q, W, E, R, and T are different. Choose Q, W, and E first. When it doesn't work, choose Q, W, and R. Go to Q, W, and T. Try Q, E, andR. Then, Q, E, andT. I'll start listing them: Q, R, and T. WER WET WRT ERT
Keep going with this pattern with the other runes. There are more than 5 runes (6, I think), but once you get the hang of it, it gets easy.
Part 2: There are 4 jobs you can do. Follow the guide for each part. The hardest job is probably to contain the remnant's energy core. I have done 5+ jobs, and that one is the one that fails all the time. It's not their fault, I tried and it's the hardest job out of all. If you get the hang of one job, work on that job. As with all plot steps, they take time. Good luck!
Seeing this just makes me smile. Keep up the good work. Hopefully I can stop by and finish everything I intended at some point. I like closure (don't we all?).
