Do you lose plot points if you lose a fight?

Aw, now they're getting though, I'll be happy with half a dozen wins. I hope this is the last wave and the puzzle part restarts soon.

In all past wars losing a fight
does not lower your total, it does
not add to it like many neobaord threads have claimed. Draws and losses do not count!

Itll probally restart once Gilly gets in the house

Yeah, hopefully Gilly's smart enough to run away from the zombies, so we don't have to fight them.. (As if they're the next wave, i'll have to pack it in, as they'd be too tough

)

I dunno, if we don't lose points for trying, maybe I'll keep trying even during next round when it will be hopeless for my pets. Kind of like a "Kilroy was here" scrawl.

Amandajolong: I'd read the threads dedicated to newbie battlers in the battledome section of the forums, then head over to idb.finalhit.org for some more advanced tips - there are way too many weapons to list but this topic
here has some brilliant suggestions.
Background_noise: while that may seem like a good idea think about those battlers who are capable of beating the opponents but can't get more than a couple of fights in because of the lag. The more people who just keep going (and I mean only when it's completely hopeless - if you have a shot then you should definately keep trying) the more people who can fight but don't get the chance. I think that "decent battlers" who work hard to train their pets should be given every opportunity to fight and people like us (yep, me included!) should know when to draw the line and decide to stop.
EDIT: You can also find weapons recommendations
here either generally or you can post your stats and someone very nice (who knows a lot more than I do) will offer you tailor made help...
Also the lag is all but gone for me at the moment, beginning to come to the end of fighting jub, hopefully I'll get in a fair number of battles before maxing out.

my pet has just 80 hp and i was able to beat the first 2 opponents the 3rd (towns people) takes me out in one hit. So with 79 hp its possible with the right weapons to beat at least 2 of them. I'm hopin gwhen the fights over my new weapon will let me beat the merca henchman

I am personally hoping that all the previous waves will come back in a sort of battle royale...seeing as how I got nowhere NEAR my max on the tombstones, that would be nice.

Or the trees for that matter. I got around to beating up tree's Monday afternoon...and then the news came out. X_x
So yes, I'm hoping for all the waves to come back. ^-^

i have 244 hp and 92 strength but i only have two scarab rings
Tue Nov 07, 2006 3:49 pm
woo.
I just attempted the townspeople, and after losing the first time I figured I would need to be more defensive. Not that I can actually defend, thanks to the lab ray.
BUT my scroll of freezing got him on the first round of the next match, then I made good use of the round where he was frozen, and I made sure to sink, burrow, and heal for the next three rounds, respectively. YAY!! I don't think I'm likely to pull it off again. But if anyone is wondering whether they can get the last opponent with less than 80 strength, yes you can. It just takes some luck and strategy.

Those of us that have been waiting for wars would like some actual challenge... the opponents so far have been too easy to max out on. We put up with all of you non-battlers and the lag you caused in the earlier waves; so now you should have to wait while we get our turn.

*Nods*
I agree with Gir. I think the people who spend their Neolives training deserve some kind of challenge.
Even though I'm not a "proper battler" I'm liking the challenge of having slightly tougher opponents, and I'd like the break from taking part for a week or so, just so that I can actually go on my tea and lunch breaks without being paranoid about the amount of challengers that I'm not battling.
EDIT: YES! YES! YES! Level 29 pet with no freezer and 9 icon weapons OWNS mob of angry townspeople at 200 difficulty
...Sorry it's a big victory for me, highest difficulty I've ever managed to beat *feels proud of herself and is glad she bought her healing scroll*

I'm up to 28 wins against Herman Dorfdrap and 13 against Bennie the Jub. I think I might be able to win one against the Townspeople if I'm lucky.
