LOL, I picked the same team as y'all... Pretty much from memory, but I did teeter between Binary SuperGoo and Ehlo Froyo. I was thinking they did about the same, but the JN results say otherwise.

I also chose Scrappy as this week's star player.

Looks like DJ Skellington beat out Agog, but otherwise, picked the best team. Star player was DJ Skellington, for being the best YYB player.

I'm torn on switching Agog out for DJ Skellington (I was actually torn on using him to begin with, as he and Agog tend to be close). Hm. I'm expecting Agog will step up her game, but...

ETA: I hate. HATE. Hate. YYB. Why in the world am I playing it? Sigh.

ETA2: Am at level 12, close to 13. Maxed out MSN in addition to SOSD, and played some YYB (uuuugh) and some SS (yay! Why haven't I been playing this one before? I love SS!). If I continue to do at least about 100 extra points a day in addition to maxing out SOSD, I'll make it to All Star by the end. Now that my hands are dying, I'm calling it a night.

I chose Scrappy in the first round for Star Player but it went to DJ Skellington.

This round I kept the same team and chose Binary Supagoo as Star Player.

I reached All-Star and I am trying to keep up the double max every day to try and get my best ever AC score.

Okay, so, I might've miscalculated. It's 22 days, but it says it goes from the 4th to the 30th, with 4 practice days. Are we actually playing on the 30th? Or is the last day on the 29th? Because that makes 23 days if we play on the 30th... (I wish they actually put the dates of the actual play dates in the FAQ, like they used to. Sigh.)

If it's the same as last year, there will be two bye days (though they added an extra to add the captchas for the finals last year) after the final RR round, before the finals bracket. So bye days on Monday the 17th, Sunday the 23rd, and Sunday the 24th. Finals will be 5 days, I think (because you only need to play each of the other 5 days in your bracket), with the sixth day (30th?) reserved for a tiebreaker, which JS basically never ever ever uses, so... Assume it ends on the 29th.

Thanks! That makes sense, and I guess I could've looked up last year. My brain is clearly fried. I am currently rank 15. I've put in plenty of extra plays over the weekend, so I'm glad for a day off tomorrow.

I need to pick my team for the next staff tourney. This is a reminder for me to do that!

Well, dang. There was nothing obvious about how to re-sign up or anything when I checked results. Results only came out Thursday. You'd think you'd have a week in between... and if results aren't out yet, why can't I pick a team? It makes no sense.

Well, I wanted to keep the same team, but I have a feeling that won't count.

It's confusing as it is, because it looks like it refers to today, since today is a practice day, but...it's on Friday's news? I haven't been reading the news very regularly though, so I don't know if it was there on Friday or not...

Aww, crud. I (almost) forgot about the staff tourney. I did not re-select my team over the weekend, and it is no longer possible to do so for week 2:


I still show as having a team - the same as week 1... Does this mean I have a team for week 2, or no team this week?

Okay, can those of you who didn't miss the tiny window for "week 2" (remember when a round lasted a week?) please share your results, because apparently we don't get to see them, so I don't know who the best team or star player was or why. Also, how the *##%####%#%%*(Y%T*()*%)*80 are you supposed to pick a star player? Because I've selected "keep team" then "change team" and clicked on players, but at no point am I given that option.

I matched up with the best scoring team this time, woot!
I had selected Kikocat as the Star player last week. Still waiting on the neomail and prize.

I've had to select my team, then refresh the page, and then the star player prompt finally pops up.

Yep. I know. It's been a heck of a couple of weeks. Big things happening. Good stuff, but still big. The last 7 or 10 days have been a blur. I am lucky I know where my head is.
